ITAF_Artiglio Posted October 17, 2023 Posted October 17, 2023 (edited) As per the title, I am having an annoying problem, and I have installed and uninstalled the game several times, to solve the problem but without success, I continue to have the same problem. Any suggestions? I have attached a video to clarify the problem... https://www.mediafire.com/file/vb8ugckk8aj5ttf/launcher64.exe+2023.08.11+-+13.13.12.01.rar/file I had opened the same discussion some time ago on the SAS site https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,71266.0.html, and they directed me both here and to the ATAG site, but on the latter I'm encountering quite a few problems in interacting with moderators and topics, it basically tells me that I don't have permission, I tried to contact the site managers but without success... I also attach an image of the game in which you can see that no skins are displayed on the aircraft, is it likely that the problem is linked to this?... the game was downloaded via Steam... ITAF_Artiglio Posted October 21, 2023 Author Posted October 21, 2023 Hi Lorena, it seems to have solved it now it works, in practice the system when installing from Steam created two "1C SoftClub" folders for me, one in "C" and the other in "E" and it seems that this is where the problem arose from I took the folder contained in "C:" and exported it by overwriting the files in "E:" and wow everything works perfectly... the mysteries of technology... However, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for wasting your time on me and I am indebted to you, as well as to the rest who replied to me, if you are in my area you will have to drink until you drop dead ?? 3
Lorena_Scout Posted October 24, 2023 Posted October 24, 2023 @ITAF_Artiglio glad everything worked like a charm, now its time to dogfights! cheers ! 1
9./JG52_J-HAT Posted October 24, 2023 Posted October 24, 2023 @Buzzsaw It seems one more happy customer got his game working after figuring out the problem with multiple 1C SoftClub/Il-2 Cliffs of Dover instances. Would it be possible to build in a routine in the install to check for the presence of the folder and do something about it? So customers don't end up with multiple instances which basically prevents their game from working? And while at it I'd suggest solve the problem it has with being in Documents altogether: One Drive, Protected Folders... Move it to another location. 2

Yes, this is one of the elements we will be adding to the 'Getting Started... Guide'. We are also looking at creating a new set of instructional videos which would take the player from purchase to play. 2
