Dogfight Investigations: Volume 1 (Volume now Complete!)

The first video of a new series aimed at breaking down multiplayer fights in IL-2 Great Battles. This series should help give a better understanding of BFM, energy management, knife fights, and just about anything that has to do with air combat. Hopefully this series will help you in analysing your own fights (it's certainly helped me).

This episode will be a break-down of 6 online multiplayer fights in the Spitfire Mk. Vb.

Controller: Thrustmaster Warthog with additional Logitech throttle quadrants and Logitech Pro Flight Rudder Pedals

Episode 2:  This episode will be covering two sorties in the P-47 D-22. They started off as ground attack missions but quickly escalated to frantic dogfights.

 

The third and last episode of Dogfight Investigations Volume 1. This episode will cover two sorties in the P-51 B-5.

Superb video @StormingThunderhead.  Do you fly as part of a squad which regular practices dogfighting within the group?  I am really keen to find a squad that does.

Thank you all for the positive feedback. I have been very busy the last couple of days, which is why I am only now able to respond to your comments.

@Player_39854 Thank you for your comment, and, no, sadly I do not fly with a particular squadron but random people on the Finnish Virtual Pilots Discord.  I'm afraid I don't really know which squadrons are good and which ones do regular practice sessions.
