Dynamic Campaign Generator?

Hi all,

 

just came across this yesterday. Hadn’t seen it before.

It’s rather old and it seems it didn’t go forward. What happened to this?

Sorry if I might be stepping on someone‘s toes here. Just curious since I think it would have been a great addition. I checked with other CloD players and they too didn‘t know the answer.

He changed his mind and decided not to join TFS.

But it was going to be incorporated into the game interface so you could just generate the campaigns/missions from the game itself rather than have to use an external utility.

Just a shame as these are the small things that make the game more accessible to new players rather than the old hands who know all the hoops to jump through.

Exactly. 
 

I get your point, @kraut1, and it is great that it works. But if it were integrated in the game it would have been nice, as MP stated above.

When I first played CLOD in ca.2015 (I waited until I heard that the Team Fusion mod is released) there was the "TEF / The enlighted florist" campaign already integrated in CLOD itself and I am still using the newer more advanced version of this let me say  "semi dynamic campaign generator" (it generates in first line campaign missions according to the choosen parameters).

After Installation this campaign is inside CLOD.

Because it was not further adapted to Tobruk it is in first line suitable for 1940 to early 41 BoB gaming.

Because the TEF campaign menu is very easy to understand for new gamers from my point of view it should be integrated in CLOD again and they should try to continue further development.

For more experienced gamers the TEF campaign could be interesting too because it is no problem to modify many of the campaign settings as required.
