is there an ME 410 manual or info sheet?

I looked everywhere can cannot find manuals for each aircraft. I need to drop  by Chuck's too for IL-2, I have my DCS manuals off Chuck's site

There are no separate manuals for each plane, but each plane does have its own specifications sheet, which has some information about the plane-specific systems.  You can view them in-game in the map screen (Specifications button in the bottom right), and they're available online as well.  You can find the official list here, and there's another one here that seems to be updated a little more quickly when new planes come out, and already has the Me 410 on it.

The Chuck's Guides for DCS are excellent, but the ones for Il-2 haven't been updated for 6 years and only cover the original Battle of Stalingrad planes.  For things like cockpit guides and basic flight instructions (takeoff and landing), I recommend Requiem's Air Combat Tutorial Library on YouTube.  Looks like there's no video for the Me 410 yet, but the Ar 234 got one not long after it was released, and I think almost every other plane has at least one video.

thank you... looks like it is homework and tests

Have you made any progress in finding 410 manuals?  I am a total noob, I love flying the 410 even though it's a bit of a dog, and I just want to be able to fly directly off gauges.  I have no problem finding spec's for e.g., water & oil temp, but am really struggling with figuring out which gauge does what....  Any help greatly appreciated!!

Yea, right.  I fell for it, too 🙄

There are no manuals for the aircraft in IL-2 Great Battles because manuals are not fun to write.  Manuals are hard to write and take time.  Who on earth would want to write a manual...lol  😉

But the "Specification" tabs on the overhead map are pretty good and give you most of what you need to fly an aircraft.

It will help if you are fluent in German I think. The only manuals I have ever used are the WWII flight notes for various aircraft. That's part of the reason I tend to fly US and British planes.

If you are flying WWI aircraft, unfortunately there is frequently a lack of information in the specifications tab as to whether there is a radiator control, mixture control and what the specifics were to those.

I sure would like to find info on some ww1 planes like that RE8 sitting duck, confirmed in specifications even ...

Such a nice model in IL2, but it could use some extra horse powers ...

Them specifications ...  from which could one extract those and printout for some bedtime stories?

Thanks, JaegermeisterI just needed help getting some of the basic gauges; e.g., the fuel gauge is almost impossible to find without the help of the IL2 forum.  In a perfect world, somewhere, somehow, I would have gotten a full English schematic of all the gauges. I saw one of these for the 109 elsewhere on the forum. In one of your manual chapters, I saw the dead link to http://ww5.cockpitinstrumente.de/  At this point I suspect I have all i need, but I have to admit I am very curious about, for example, the top two gauges on the folding part of the instrument panel (I'm a noob at the sim & not a pilot in real life, but one would think these are important as they take up some highly accessible/visible space in cockpit).  Also was wondering about the sets (per engine) of gauges below pitch. I am supposing they are not needed for sim purposes.  50 years ago or so, I knew a real, actual 109G pilot.  Too bad he's long gone, I could have just asked him! (And the 109 history book he autographed for me was stolen....)

The upper one is for the radio beacon. The horizontal needle shows the distance (up is close down is 100 km, at higher altitudes it can also be 200(?) km), the vertical needle shows the direction to the radio antenna. The lower gauge shows if your aircraft is climbing or diving.

Right, they are not really modelled in game. The left needle in the yellow surrounded half is for fuel pressure, the right needle in the brown surounded half is for oil pressure.

Thanks so much!!  I actually was able to get my last few gauges by watching Requiem "how to fly the 109 K".  However, despite having the fuel gauge pointed out to me in a post elsewhere on the forum, I cannot get the fuel gauge to activate.  It's supposed to be that gauge on the left panel in front of the throttle, but on my computer the gauge just reads zero, and, I tried to activate the fuel switch just behind it, and it is likewise not working. Is there a problem with my computer, or is there no working fuel gauge for the 410?

For me the button 'Switch fuel indicator' (second last key assignement in engine management) is working

Got it!!  Thank you and thank you again!!  I tried several mappings around "fuel" but I missed the obvious one.  Doh!

Oddly, if I am reading the gauge properly, there is more (about 10%?) in the tank than spec'd in the game/sim set-up page in single player mode.

It's either that or the fuel gauge only reads up to a certain fuel level.

@LukeFF was the key assignement for the telescopic sight changed from L Shift + V? I don't get it to work anymore.

Keeping in mind I'm a noob, I tried several fuel load-outs (light% to medium% to full%) and it seemed (?) to consistently be off by same little bit.  Also, the gauge on the plane is giving me a bigger load than I spec', so its conservative i.e. I have more fuel than I asked for.  So, maybe its a buffer?

In the end, I busy myself in Quick Mission with practicing t/o and landings, and trying to hit something with the Stuvi; and, in that context the fuel gauge is so slow to look at, I don't get much of an  opportunity to look.  If I ever get to multiplayer I know this will change. Thanks so much for your input!!

Hmm, not sure. I'll make a note to check it.

Annnnd I'll try to remember to check that too. 🙂

No offense, but the 603s could have been better used.
