Transport planes career mode

Howdy, apologies if this has been discussed already, but during the Stalingrad career, (I’m playing as the Russians), I’ve yet to encounter a single JU52. I’ve swapped around some the fighter squadrons that are close to the front line and haven’t encountered a single one, even during the airdrop phase of the campaign. Is this a bug of some sort, or were JU52s genuinely very very rare over the skies of Stalingrad?

It is simply that this type of transport aircraft interceptor mission has never been enabled in the carrer mod by the designers. Just like the ship attack missions in the KUBAN campaign. In all, there are about ten types of missions that are not activated. This is a big shortcoming of modcarrer

That’s such a shame and surely an easy thing to rectify? Any chance of it being something that’s looked at by the designers? @LukeFF is this something that might be looked into at all? Not sure if it’s your domain or not, apologies if not!

No, this is the sort of thing that @=FB=VikS handles. I'm hoping that with the C-47 coming that all the missions related to transport planes receive an overhaul.

Perfect! Thanks for the reply, sounds good re c-47, would make sense to roll out a new set of missions. Maybe the anti-shipping missions could be updated at same time, what do you reckon @=FB=VikS? ?
