Hi Julian,

nice work but to my knowledge the props end and the "M" are in yellow and not in red.

Thank you buddy

You're right, this aircraft was part of its gruppe's third staffel, so it had yellow markings. Red markings would have been used by the gruppe's second staffel.

The aircraft's codes should also be T6-DP, not T6-MP:

There's a lot of misinformation out there about this particular aircraft and its codes, gave me quite a headache working on DWT. This page has a good summary of why there's so much confusion about this specific Stuka: https://penelope.uchicago.edu/~grout/encyclopaedia_romana/luftwaffe/aircraft/Ju-87/T6+DP.html

There's also an explanation of where the ahistorical T6-MP profile comes from here: https://penelope.uchicago.edu/~grout/encyclopaedia_romana/luftwaffe/aircraft/Ju-87/T6+CP.html

Hope I'm not coming across as being too critical, Julian; your skin is amazing! Personally, I think it looks a lot better with red instead of yellow, and much more at home on a Ju 87 D

These Ju-87s with the snake were at least three... Version I think B/R, but no D.
Two different ones, probably with red spots on the body of the snake. And at least one with green spots in the colour of the original camouflage on the body of the snake. Or maybe the other way around. There was a nice article in REVI magazine, but I don't have it available now.

Love your skins. One small request though if possible, could you do a generic one as well when you do each please?

We'll eventually have tactical codes working on all aircraft and even before then it looks strange flying a campaign with every plane having the same fuselage numbers.

This skin was done when the 109 E7 first came out... yours is a slightly different take on it, but I like them both!

1. Beautiful

2. What map is that (or am I just being dumb)? Kuban summer?

3. Why are the Fws in such dark tones vs. the other trop Luftwaffe colours?

Big fan of your work, Mr. Julian

Hi @EAF19_Marsh

They were European theatre aircraft sent to Africa and they did not change the camo, just the white stripe, this was very common.

Thank you, that is interesting. I had seen some 190 profiles in desert colours and you made some 109s that looked like the were basically European with a few sandy bits, so that makes sense. Not to mention JG 3's very individual 1942 G-2 schemes.

Personally, I love the Summer 1940 Emils with the high-backed light blue camo and un-mottled finish. It looks so pure and happy before things turn all grey and speckled.

It's a strange world, the Luftwaffe camo approach ?

Hello @esk_pedja

The images are no longer...?

It seems that RLM 79 color changed:

1941 production (visible on planes fighting 1942)

image.png.4cac41fb51d755385f2e00b9d09f4ebd.png

1942 production (visible on planes late 42/early 43)

Can some expert confirm this ?
