Salute,

I am trying to add the new Ju88-C6 to a mission I am building. In this mission I wanted to restrict the loadout. I have had success with locking loadouts in my missions previously and have made contributions to a thread here...

However I am now having an issue with the new JU88-C6

I have followed the same process and configured it in screen shot 1 below, however when I go into my server this plane loadout restriction is not working. I am using the same plane set as in my other post and they are all fine (no big bombs etc) so I know / believe  I have everything else correct for this function to work.

What I get when I go in game is as screen shot 2 below, although from the restriction list the option is denied, it is still available.

Will @Han be updating the master loadout list ("https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/21045-payloads-list-dependences-on-unlocks/")?

Is anyone else able to lock out loadouts 6,13 and 16 on this plane?

Your advice and guidance, as always is very much appreciated.

Edit: Please note I have tried with the "Weapon Mods" set to  1111111 (as per this screen shot) and also clear with no options selected. I get the same results in both cases.

Cheers

Many thanks for the link.

So it seems I need to disable 8,12 and 15 not 6, 13 and 16!

May I ask where / how  did you find those numbers from, so I know the next time a new plane comes along and I can do the heavy lifting myself?

I know what I do when a new plane comes out and I want to lock certain mods in career mode, I load up a quick mission and choose all of the mods I want to lock (before generating the mission itself). I then open the _gen.mission file and search for the WMMask line, which will then tell me the combination of 1s and 0s needed (minimum of 6 is required).

I went into the game, and looked at the id number in the game. I took that id number minus 1 and that's the id number for the payload.

You need to disable payload 5, 12, and 15 (as read from the extract below, which is missing from Han's list). I generated (and edited) the extract from Storebror's Payload Parser. The output from the Payload Parser is all crammed together and needs editing to make it look neat.

LukeFF's method above looks interesting; I'll have to try that out.

FYI re. the first part of the Payload Parser process (that is using the GTP Archive Extractor, unGTP):

1. Open the folder where you installed unGTP and open your IL-2 /data folder.
2. From the IL-2 /data folder, drag Scripts.gtp onto unGTP-IL2.exe in your unGTP folder.
    A command window opens and unpacks the GTP, but you get an "unknown type" error at the end, which you can ignore.
    A folder called "(null)" is created under the IL-2 /data folder.
3. Close the command window and move the (null) folder to a non-IL-2 folder to avoid confusing it with a standard IL-2 folder.

Many thanks for your reply Jim, but from your list it does look like #8 as well is required. I will give the combinations a go later this morning.

Salute to all for your time in assisting.

EDIT Sorry just re-read your post #8 is id not the payload number, why did I doubt such a wise one?

Modified the parser to create a readable output...

Simply decompiled it

changed a single line (!)

and recompiled it...

I noticed no on screen output generated, but never mind...

Changes:

###

    private static void addLine(string line = "")
    {
//      Program.sw.Write(line);
      Program.sw.WriteLine(line);
      Console.WriteLine(line);
    }
###

Result taken directly from the generated file:
