Congratulations. Your app is definitly a must have!

It is each time encompassing more aspects of the game to become a 1-stop-shop, covering it all.

On the pilot notes I am missing the optimum climb speed, which is very usefull, other pilot notes seem to include it.

Hi, Youtch. As always, thank you for your positive rating about the App.

About the missing optimun climb speed consider this: the Pilot's Notes that now I added in the App give values taken from the game manual; all Rate of Climbs in the App are values achived by me and @Roland_HUNter during tests "In Sim" (values significantly different from those give by the game manual or by other Pilot's Notes sources).

So, having two different classes of values in the same app could be confusing, don't you think?

Your app is incredibly useful!!

I especially enjoy all the historical information of squadrons, plane types and used airfields that are so hard to find!

Due to the latest official 5.204 Update a new english & spanish version 20.35.30.49 has been released.

- Added new Ta 152 H-1 plane in the main App and in Bodenplatte Scenario.

- Fixed some bugs and various improvements.

Note:  @Roland_HUNter and I are preparing a new set of Turn Rate values tested "in Sim". A new update of the App will be released soon. For now only the Ta 152 H-1 is been update with this new TR values (and with Speed & Rate of Climb value too, obviously!).

Stay Connected...

Stupid question. How can I resize the main window? The maximize button is greyed out and the resize option is not available.

Thanks, B.

You can't. It's simple, the main window cannot be resized because its contents (fonts, images, buttons, and controls) cannot be resized with it. Bye.

A new english & spanish version 20.36.31.50 has been released.

- Now the main App reports all new sustained Turn Rate values. The each value were tested directly "In Sim" for each plane at two different altitude, using the Kuban Autumn map, in certain conditions of fuel load %, default load (cargo for transports and bombs for bombers), best engine, best performance mods, best weather conditions (no clouds, no wind, 12.00 time).
- In the main window App hovering mouse over Turn Rate value you can get the % of fuel loaded, the mods installed and the default load to achieve that result.
- Fixed some bugs and various improvements.

Please note that all these new Turn Rate values can differ significantly from the real ones or those provided by the game manual, but they're still useful for players to play better.

All this work would not have been possible without the precious help and support of @Roland_HUNter who tested all the values with me and gave me advice and suggestions to obtain maximum precision.

@marcobona Thx for the great app!

Why did you decide to use the nominal IAS as an additional values, and not the combat mode IAS?

It seems to me that the combat speed is a more important value, especially when compared with the enemy.
Is it possible to optionally add the combat mode IAS value in future versions?
Also a question about the maximum modes of German aircraft:
- Bf.109 G6 Late, Bf.109 G6 AS, Bf.109 K4 - Max IAS values using MW-50. Bf.109 G14 - MW-50 is not specified;
- Fw-190 A5 - is it possible to specify the Max IAS in the strike modification U17 at SL?

Hi pal, I'll evaluate your proposal.

Because MW-50 in this plane is not a mod to be installed as a player choice, but is a default preinstalled system.

It's complicated. If I had to enter the IAS speeds for each mod of each plane in the App, the space would not be enough and the App would become too heavy!

Me and @Roland_HUNter have tried to maintain a standard for the calculation of IAS speeds, Climb of Rates and Turn Rates, in order to be able to make a comparison between aircraft on equal terms.

Thank you for keeping this updated!

In addition to my previous praises, the skin viewer is really really helpful for mission designers! I cannot remember how many times I had to re-edit the mission when I have miscalculated the skin number before using your app.

Its sad I can like/upvote this app only once.

Thanks for doing this! Wonder when you measured turn time, did you do left or right turns (since there can be quite a big difference between them) and what speed you were at?

It depends from propeller direction, obviously! So, i.e., for MIG-3 the Turn Rate value are achieved turning left, for the 109s are achieved turning right.

About the speeds they are those provided by game manual. Bye.

@livebeMrofo Your OS is Windows 7 x64, or you've upgraded from Win7 to Win10? The problem is Windows Media Player component not registered.

Try these methods:

Method 1: Try to re-enable Windows Media Player and check if it helps.

Enable Windows Media Player

Method 2: Re-register files related to Windows Media Player. To do this, follow the steps below.

a. Click on start and in the start search bar type cmd, right click on the command prompt icon in the programs area and then click on run as administrator.

b. At the command prompt

          i.            Type regsvr32 wmp.dll and then press enter.

ii.            Type regsvr32 jscript.dll and then press enter

iii.            Type regsvr32 vbscript.dll and then press enter

c. Restart the computer and then check if the issue is resolved.

Method 3: Disable and enable Windows Media Player from Windows Features and check if it helps.

a)      Go to Start.

b)      Type Turn Windows features on or off and open it.

c)       Uncheck Windows Media Player under Media Features and click OK.

d)      Restart your computer.

e)      Open Windows Features on or off.

f)       Enable Windows Media Player under Media Features and click OK.

g)      Restart your computer

Due to the latest official 5.505 Update a new english & spanish version 21.38.35.55 has been released.

- Tested the Bf-109 G-2 with the new FM: new IAS, TR and RoC added for this plane (many thanks to @Roland_HUNter who tested all the values with me).

- Updated the Bf-109 F-4, Bf-109 G-2, Bf-109 G-6AS, Bf-109 G-6 Late, P-39L-1 and Bf-110 G-2 planes in Pilot's Notes (many thanks to @Charlo-VR for his work).

- Due to the new Microsoft Security Policy about OneDrive sharing files I had to remove the ability to see plane videos from the app (as they were shared in my OneDrive Cloud) and the notification for the new updates (now you must check the main page of the App).

Hi, great job. There is a strange bug when selecting 109 G2. For the speed at 3000 m, another value is taken in the right window. Maybe there is a mistake in the nominal values IAS G2 on all hight. He should be faster than G4.
Is it possible to voice the method for obtaining maximum speeds? These are not continuous held speeds, but peak ones? I make my own measurements and they do not match those in the program. I assume that the program indicates maximum peak speeds with closed radiators.

It's not a bug, it'my fault! The correct speed value is 470 Km/h. I've correct with a new version in main topic page. Thanks for the report.

Max speed values are the max ones achieved in the most extreme conditions: max throttle in emergency mode until engine goes in overheat with all radiators closed.

He should be faster than G4

And so it is. But Nominal speed is not max speed. And this is the values achieved during tests in sim...until proven otherwise!

Got it. If plane have automatic radiators, I recommend taking measurements in the auto position. After all, with a closed radiator, the speed is unattainable in a game situation.

On an airplane with manual radiator control, find their position without allowing overheating. I understand that this will take more time, but the value of such numbers will greatly increase for a game situation.

No problem! The engines are the same, the modes are the same, if the speed ratio is maintained in all modes, the measurement is correct. If something does not match, there is an error somewhere. Here are 3 measurements for comparison in similar conditions. Fuel 100%, radiator auto. The nominal speed is higher and exceeds the same for G4. (After 5 minutes after the appearance. If you fly longer, the speed gradually drops by 1-2 km / h)

DB-601E (1943) does not affect the nominal speed, check. 2300@1.15ata - standard mode for 109 from F2 to G14.

In the real world it doesn't, but in this sim yes, it does.
