Seems like the forward limit been pushed back.  You could get a lot closer to the gunsight before the latest patch.

Real fighter cockpits are a little tighter than most people think if they haven't been in one. Unless your in a P47 that is...

@Firdimigdi, @Strewth, @Daisy_Blossom, congrats guys. You got it done. :salute:

Strewth, If that's your '45 in you Avatar, nice one... Looks a little like my Sporty

It is mine.
It is not a 45.
It is a 1942  74" military U-model that I picked up from South Africa, complete with metal bodied sidecar. I have spent a rather large amount just on the rebuild.

Cheers mate.

I got in a real He-111, and holy crap- those were brave crew! its SUPER tight in the pilots seat, even worse with full cold gear and parachute - I don't know how they did it at all - Dunno about the Ju-88 but "restricted" is maybe correct for the He at least? - I'll have to try that again and see.

You are right about the He111 - I just had a quick look in that and my issue with it was basically when looking up towards the gauges in the H6 the limit would kick in, but looking at a photo of the pilot seating in there I can understand why there is that limitation there and I obviously had my position centered too high to start with - the lateral movement is a-ok in it. The Ju88A4 currently has the same limitations the C6 had and it can cause that horizontal displacement mentioned above when looking left-right.

In fact all cockpits are really restrictive and sometimes the whole cockpit moves when I move my head only, not my whole body. I have the limits disabled but the servers I play have limits forced.
