I think we need to reign this in before Jason closes the thread for being too far off topic...

I'm above average height, middle aged, living in modern Europe, and live a fairly sedentary lifestyle, and I barely hit 70Kg.  As someone who has skydived, I can also assure you that a chute and harness don't weigh anywhere near 30 Kg.

Well... I was intending to make a first-order approximation. As wildlife humans are in the 50-100kg niche.

Forsyth & Laurier report that the weight savings of the single-seat variant was 380kg!

One factory built prototype single-seater was planned to have 1800kg in weight savings - but that was a deeper modification. It does sound like the field mods would have been in the ~400kg range and raised the speed from 388mph to 400mph though.

(So a weight saving closer to dropping an SC500 than dropping an SC250)

That's a heavy seat!  ;)

A seat, oxygen equipment, intercom bits, seat belts, gun aiming apparatus, etc...  It adds up quick.

400 MPH!!! Those wily Germans. There wasn’t anything they couldn’t do. On paper.

Well... I got that by adding the '20 km/h' speed increase to the stated maximum speed. An increase of 20km/h is non-trivial but it certainly wouldn't have made the aircraft truly viable. I do wonder if the handling and climb would have improved more from the 380 km/h weight reduction though.

There is none. Everything is released one by one; most aircraft are already available. It's ready when it's ready.

That said, Jason mentioned recently that they have to finish it before June or their ability to create additional products will be jeopardised. So I'd say June 2022 is when everything's done.

Thanks for that, Ethelred (as we call him over here!) I see that you are not unready!

That's a trumpet, like the Stuka "Jericho" except manually operated. Twist off the cap and blow! Very frightening, Herr Goering's idea.

German 'Spanner' - optical night vision equipment as fitted on early Bf110's, 410's etc

@Han

Any chance the Me410 and Ju-88 will have night fighter versions?
