Plain OD Skin ?

Could or would someone do me a plain OD skin, please. Would like it to be a medium OD green top

and Lt gray bottom w/bar stars, and light stains. Want to use it as a blank.

 

I can not do any painting for either the OD and gray, that is why I am asking for someone to do this.

May I second that, I need a war worn D22 skin in OD and appropriate gray belly, with 'Fudd' chalked on the cowling and basic USAAF markings.

Forgot to ask, would you consider doing a P38J25 in  OD [Light OD] gray underside w/insignias and light stains, please.

Yes, but a lighter OD and no stripes on spinners. Not being critical, but the OD is awful dark.

Sorry Yank, I got hit by the flu right after replying to you and it's litteraly kknocked me off my feet since. I'm still pretty weak from it and have the attention span of a fox in a hen house.

 

I'll look at this later when I feel up too it, meanwhile if anyone wants to sort it out for you that's all by me.

OK, Pict, the OD color is good. The only thing I would like you to do is, take off 3/4 of the dirt, grime and stains.

I do not like so much of it, just a little is what I want, then we are good to go.

Seriously I'm not really doing very much at all. All I am doing is arranging the already beutifully made and highly detailed photoshop templates made by @ICDP and made available by @Jason_Williams, who broke the mold for ease of entry into skinning for flight sims when he started making such high quality & detailed templates available to the public back in Rise of Flight. 

 

This is no small feature and deserves more credit than it usually receives as apart from making it easy for anyone to get involved and have some fun, yet still produce usable skins. It largely avoids the huge range of quality (much of it mediocre) that was found with user made skins in the dim & distant past, which I think is clearly a win win scenario.

That said, what I have done other than a minor bit of arranging of the templates is build a custom alpha channel in order to reduce the reflective effect for the Olive Drab. That too was relatively easy as they have provided an alpha template, they think of everything. So that all up it only took 10 - 15 minuites to do, including testing.

 

I would highly recommend anyone to give this a go themselves. No need for the latest most expensive software, I've been using Photoshop CS6 for a very long time and I think that older versions like this or demo versions are available, if not free then pretty cheap. There is also Gimp as well which is freeware. Plus lots and lots of tutorials out there and even on this site.

Just checked the washed version out, bud that is what I was looking

for. Looks a lot better washed am very pleased now, when you get the time

wash the P-38J25 and that will be that.

Ok I understand a little better what you're trying to do. If you had photoshop you could make use of the templates I just tweaked for you. It would be much easier for you and the end result would be far better.

Thanks for the info on the paint programs, got the Photoshop CSC already had Martin Writes DXT.

Will PM you later to send you screenshots of some of the skins I did in the game aluminum template and your

OD base. They actually came out pretty nice, I thing using what I have to do them with.

 

Question, where are the MG barrels on the P-47D28 at on your skin, they show up on the viewer the same

color as the underside. They should be black or a dark gray. I want to change the color of them. Or is it in

the Alpha channel to do the color change ?
