Can't open a new mission I am building in the Mission Builder

I have just spent quite a few hours developing this mission and now can't open it in the Mission Builder to continue building it. The Mission is playing ok within the game?

I've attached a zip file for somebody to have a look at the problem. This is the second time this has happened and it is very frustrating. Generally the Mission builder works well.

Did you completely rewrite the mission or did you take over from an existing mission?

namhee2 thanks for your reply - I took over an existing mission to save time. I think this bug is to do with the 'built in check' on what you are doing. I have got a feeling that I pressed 2 keys at the same time which caused confusion in the script. If you could go into the script and undo what I did?

I also had the problem, if you want to write a new mission with the help of an existing mission, you first have to make a few changes and then save it with a new name.

The .mission file is missing some text at the end. I added the following to the end:

    }

    # end of file

Here's a resaved version of the mission that loads into the editor (it takes a minute or so):

DF_P47_Mission.zip

However, I can't guarantee that there is not more (possibly much more) text that is missing, so the mission may not work in the game as intended.

@DFLion : Back up your copy of the mission that works in game before checking out this version. You can open your working .msnbin file in the editor and save it as a .mission file (use a different file name and mission name in mission properties). For details, see "Edit a Mission Without the Mission Source File" on pg. 48 of the editor manual. Then you can compare my version of .mission with your working version of .mission to see what's missing.

Thanks JimTM for your help with this problem. I will follow your advice and compare each mission to see what is missing using your 'editor manual'? After pouring myself a very good red wine, I decided to completely rebuild the mission from scratch which is now my latest post, including a revision and both are working ok!

I think pressing the two keys at the same time was my downfall, this caused a confusion in the scripting.

Appreciate your help.
