How to guide?

Is there a guide to making skins using GIMP or PS? I have found some UTube videos, mostly several years old, but they do not go into much detail. Thanks.

Most of the guides will still hold true, but the Great Skinners Community discord (https://discord.gg/NsBEMYSP) has some great advice threads, and everyone has been super helpful with all my noobish questions

There are links to some skinning resources under "Skinning Guides" in the IL-2 Sturmovik Resources post.

im happy to help with cs6 and gimp combined, i use PS then save as dds in gimp, much easier as  dds plugin does not work now in win 10 update

Thanks, all. I did not think to look other than the skins topic. I will look at the resources link.
