DN308 Posted May 16, 2021 Posted May 16, 2021 (edited) @fergal69 and @cardboard_killer88 has the range to hit high targets. However, they should have been right over the gun to be reachable. 105 was able either to reach high altitude and distant targets. Edited May 16, 2021 by DN308
Lusekofte Posted May 16, 2021 Posted May 16, 2021 After a long period of absence. I suddenly feel the need to invest in FCII , and fly again I wonder if the name Typhoon is the reason. I am very glad to see the progress

If it was done it'd make the most sense to model the command position for an entire battery (being fed data from range-finders, or maybe even being able to take a range-finding position, and laying shells). I wonder if that could also be done for some ships... but it is already a big project so I suspect it'd wait for the Pacific - if the Pacific is possible (which it may not be) and if the Pacific is done on the same engine (which it probably wouldn't be). It is an interesting idea though.
IckyATLAS Posted May 21, 2021 Posted May 21, 2021 A small request here after looking at all these nice guns and ships with guns. This time please put gunners manning the guns on the ships, mainly for AAA and machine guns. It makes all so more realistic. Otherwise everything feels so robotic. More humans everywhere I should say. A second point is again related to bombing. Bombing cities and setting sectors on fire means that we have rubble buiuldings, trees burned down and blackened, and more craters staying. To do this you need a few (two three different types) of building rubble piles that we can use when there are no destroyed model of a building, or to simulated destroyed buildings, blackened burned trees to have realistic city destruction visuals and compatible with fires. The worst visual effect in city fires is raging fires with nice flush green trees in the middle of blackened burned buildings.. All above does not seem to me a superhuman investment and would add so much to the visual immersion, that seems really worth the effort.
