First time out Help wanted

Ok this is my very first time out I have just purchased the Tank Crew and looking for a quick start.

 

I have been mainly flying WW1 and WW2 and MSFS 2020.

 

I have a Thrustmaster T16000M throttle and joystick and CH Pro Pedals. I do have other joysticks and the Thrustmaster pedals but do not wish to have to keep changing them.

 

I know how to start the tanks and can use the throttle to forward and back and the joystick to steer, I am looking for any other tips as to how to fir the weapons and easy tanks to use.

I would use your pedals to steer and joystick to aim the gun.

I would suggest you map your rudder pedals for steering, its what I do with an X52. Push left to go left and push right to go right, frees up your hands and buttons/axis for other stuff. If your joystick twists I would suggest making that the turret traverse.

I have joystick forward / backward for up down and twist for left right. I am able to adjust it quite precisely.

 

Put zoom on a HAT switch on the stick, also "T" and LeftShift+T for take control and nestle in on the stick as well. It will help to get in the gunsight quickly.

Well after one and half hours I gave up trying to switch positions and other things glad I did not pay full price (only have state pension) a few questions if I return to the sim 1 what is it when I press the enter key ? 2 can one fir cannons in external view ? 3 Switch to firing point RSHT+1 and 2 and 3 do not seem to do anything ? 4 whats gun sight mode tog ALT+M it also do's nothing ?

I have tried the PZ KPFW 111 AUST.L and the PZ KPFW V1 AUT.H1

 

Hope I an not boring you guys, I was wondering is there any manuals as to how to use the Tanks and the keys.

 

I shudder to think how a new person gets on with the planes let alone the tanks. Well back to the aircraft for a while to give my brain a rest.

The best way to learn all the controls is once you have spawned into the tank you want, hit the "ESC" key, and then select "station notes". Here you will find all the key commands for each position along with an explanation. Good luck, and don't hesitate to ask questions, We all did.
