There is one 2k in RoF, could be used as a base for this 4k skin.

But I will use a full red FC color DVa for base and then use the emblems from the 2K ROF plane.
It seems that the colors are not the same and I already have a nice red to go with this plane.

As for 2K or 4K, I will use a 2K template, since the colors for planes are pretty good in 2K and the file is less big.
I only use 4K for tank skins, since you see them really near of each other.

 

ps: I'm finishing it now, tweaking some little details after a try out last night!

4k makes a real difference in making long-distance identification in MP (useful if your whole flight uses similar skins and you need to see personal markings). Not so important for this plane, unless someone is flying a MvR skin...

At this time, I did a few skins for my JG1 squadron... most of them for Tank Crew!
I'm also doing Tank Crew skins for SCG squadron that are very active in Tank Crew multiplayer online events!

thanks for the pictures (torments: standing hungry in front of the empty fridge?)!

I visited the JG1 website and was very impressed with the skins there.

The Albatros D.Va by Hermann Leptien (+ crow) is a personal skin for Mr. "127Tom" (the happy owner?).

You could also offer the skin for the comiunity to download without the crow. I would be over the moon (the skin is a masterpiece! Superb !!!)
