Does "..for the new controller.." mean 'with' or 'instead of' ? In either choice I cannot use Thrustmaster (FGT) pedals as rudder pedals along with CHCombat stick. What am I doing wrong? I have CHCombat stick and trying to use Thrustmaster pedals.. I've got it working in Rise of Flight; no problems there but IL-2 seems to have issues with this...

It means that the game recognized a controller it hasn't seen before and assumes you connected that one for the first time. It then thinks that this new input device is used for the same control inputs, like if you had Saitek rudder pedals and now connect a MFG Crosswind. It then offers you to make life easy and just map all the functions you had on the "old" device on the new one, of which the game assumes you replace the old one with.

If you press "ACCEPT", the game will then map all corresponding functions on the new device. In case of the former example, it makes it posible to use the MFG pedals as you did your Saitek oes by just clicking ACCEPT. Easy.

Now, if the game thought wrong and this is a new device that you intend to map differently with functions, then press "Cancel" and the game does nothing. You then are required to enter the Key mapping and assign all functions manually yourself.

Hit CANCEL and assign axes of FGT device manually, don't need even replace CH PRO Pedal assignments, but use a new column, just don't plug both pedals simultaneous.

If hit ACCEPT and FGT axes use different names of CH Pedal axes names, things my goes kaput, why auto assignment of axes in games more hinder than help.

Thank you, ZachariasX and Sokol1. I'll play more with the settings and see if I can get everything to work. ?

Where are you playing with the settings? I plugged my USB CHProPedalsand the game allows me to use them but I have no toe brakes.

I didn't see it anywhere in windows 10 when I originally configured them there. The old CH manager used to allow me to soften the centers a little

but I don't see any adjustments anywhere. Can that be done in game, like BOS?

Thanks

You don't need CH Manager for use the CH PRO Rudder Pedal, it's an optional, unnecessary software.

- You have some benefits if make the pedal calibration through CH Manager instead use the obsolete Windows Game Controllers, but an more easy to use option is DView, that run from a folder, without need install.

For assign brakes of CH PRO Rudder Pedal, in IL-2:GB (Bo'X) main interface go to

> Settings

> Key Mapping

> Plane Controls

Look for  "Right wheel brakes" and "Left wheel brakes" and assign respective pedal brakes, may is need hold pedal pressed and release in assignment Window.

Beware that this "right and left" wheel brakes will work only for planes that have brakes on pedals, e.g. P-51, Bf 109...what exclude British (e.g. Spitfire) Italian (e.gl. Mc-202) and Russian (e.g. Il-2) planes - minus i-16; those planes require a button, key or axis assigned for "Whee brakes" (too in Plane Controls).

Use this "Wheel Brakes" control combined with rudder movement for brake only right or left wheel.

This option work for any plane of the game, regardless if have brakes on pedal or not.
