I know the Romanians used Mk Is, but still, one can dream...

I'm looking at doing a Romanian one next! I'm learning the odds and ends at the moment on the template with a VVS winter camo. I've only really messed with the winter camo on the left side of the fuselage, but it's coming along.

Small update! Got the winter camo on, now I spend an eternity chipping and scuffing it up. I'm going to test it out and make sure I get the different wing panels for the different armament loadouts to look correct as well, so that might take a little time (Ignore the weird paint issue on the wing, that has since been fixed up).

 

Edit: Figured I would grab an in-game shot too. I'm going to be doing a lot of testing since the panels on top of the wings change with the armament changes.

Skin of Hurricane Mk IIb as used by the ML-KNIL (Netherlands East Indies Army Air Corps) in the Dutch East Indies.

Camo is standard RAF camo with RAF markings painted over and Dutch markings added. Some Mk. IIs were operational in 1942 during the Japanese advance in the Dutch East Indies.

I have seen some Romanian skins for the Hurricane in the HSD, but they all have tactical numbers. Did anyone make a blank one?

 

Is there maybe even a rumor that an official skin will be added with the new IL-2 Odessa/Karelia?

I have added your skin to my small Romanian Tanks and vehicles skin pack v1.

These romanian skins are now all considered in my latest EMG Odessa Modification for 1941 and 1944 Romanian vehicle columns, tank columns and stationary tank concentrations.

And the Hurricane skin is considered in the optional planes settings.
