I think, that the uniforms are green, cause it`s Panzerjäger Troops. You can see it by the soldier at the left.

Everything is almost finished, only a few small changes need to be made.
Unfortunately I'm on vacation now and you have to be patient for two weeks!

I believe its in characters file but I am not a modder of this games files as other have done. I understand game file structure but not totally sure of this

Correct but the game must be modded otherwise, by default, the characters folder is not present.

Guenther, while it may look green, it was referred to as "field grey"/Feldgrau. Over the war years and between manufacturerers, there was quite a variation from almost grey to brown/green shades, depending on wool/viscose content, etc.

You know that especially the Division " Das Reich " was involved in some of the most awful war crimes ( f.e. Oradur sur glane, . Of course, SS units took part in the battle of Kursk, but i guess, there had been enough regular Army Tank units. I would like to see normal tank unit uniforms as well as tank destroyer units ( i hope Stug III will appear also ? )  Afrika Corps is a great idea.  

I would call 11th Tank divison an elite unit, or 16th... many others  And tbh, the those so called " elite units " wearing SS runes are not a good example for a game...  but of course the artwork u did is nice, no doubt.  And u know, the SS is standing for the " GENERALPLAN OST ", anhilation of the slavic people... i realy would appreciate, if u would invest your time and possibilities to create normal tank uniforms....thanks for understanding

It does matter - many leaders of Waffen-SS-units accepted horrendous losses each and every fight they went into. That's not "elite", that's a war crime and stupid from a professional military point of view, too. The standard Wehrmacht-army-divisions often were able to stay (more or less) intact at the front-line for some month. They had to, because there was no reserve and so the army-leaders usually operated with cause. Those SS-units sometimes had to be completely re-established after a few days of fighting. Waffen-SS often operated like there was no yesterday or tomorrow. The myth of "elite" Waffen-SS-units is based on ruthless leaders and soldiers drilled to accept even obviously stupid orders.
Wasteful first-class supply for the few extra-pampered Waffen-SS-divisions is another aspect. One of the preferred SS-division got enough stuff to level up half a dozen standard-Wehrmacht-army-divisions. And was allowed to waste that gems in a few weeks.

Well drilled and first-class-equipped military units accepting 50% losses are able to achieve surprising results. This short-sighted waste should not be narrated as a success-story.

(Yes, I know: especially later in war some Waffen-SS-leaders became more cautious -  there have been "poor" Waffen-SS-divisions, too - etc pp - that topic is complex. But there's still no way to transform that idiotic Waffen-SS-setup into a paragon. The myth of "elite Waffen-SS" is pure propaganda.)

I am talking about the fact, that those units had been involved in war crimes, racial extermination and shooting civilians wherever they appeared. Shooting american POW in the Ardennes. Players should not support the psychotic idea, that those criminals had been elite in the slightest matter. I would realy appreaciate, if we can keep this upcoming tank line free of this SS dirt. Private taste, ok.. keep it private. But for MP i would realy recommend , that using SS insignia or uniforms is not allowed. Gameplay does not need this.

An accident is a tragedy ! SS was NOT AN ACCIDENT. my initial question was, why do u only model tank crew with SS uniforms ? i guess your confirmed abilities easyly could be used to represent normal WH units ? btw nice tiger skin...

I hope we get the opportunity to make a lot of nice uniforms,

too a lot of work to make.. tanks, planes and uniforms ..

now unfortunately there aren't too many moders doing something like that, I only know Detcord

unfortunate .. I started with the SS so with the bad boys .. now the good boys comming..

but everything takes time ..

just be patient

I posted this in another thread but it seemed appropriate here as well .     It is only a game.....no war crimes being committed here, just simulation of combat in a game. An interesting camo created by a member should be praised and thanked for the effort and hard work put into it not scolded .?  I forget what the default uniform is as I use modded ones .....but I think it was SS too wasn't it?  If so not much choice till Tomi_099 creates AFRICA CORP or other options.

Ok, so because it is only a game you have to accept that f.e. " Totenkopfverbände" are just simple game part. i wonder why this guy is ONLY ( till now) producing ss stuff… i guess he has the possibilities to creat normal WH stuff ? and i don t agree , robbing murder, torture should not be accepted part part of the game. and those Units corrupted the Honor of any existing soldier with their warcrimes. and remolding them in game is imo a shame, especially if you are a german modder, who should know that in Germany such stuff is stricly prohibitted by law ( and with good reason ). i will not use this " uniform mods" , and if u use the private, ist ur Cup of tea, but it should be not allowed to use em in upcoming MP Events.  we have had enough brave soldiers in WH without that lausy bastards of SS !  make marking of 2nd tank division instead of the war criminals " das reich ".  you can have of Course another opinion, but thats mine .. and if it would be only Combat sim  game, it should be enough to have normal uniforms, if it does not matter, no? but if u choose those as a modder, it should be allowed to ask " WHY " … don t know the ressources, but have yesterday seen online how u can mod the uniforms, and so it is a Chose by purpose… nobody Needs SS runes to man a PZ IV in game, Right ?

This is not the place to discuss this. I personally find it rude for the author who does this for free (loved the ferdinand skin with tags on it btw ?)... On top of that the Leibstandarte, Das Reich, and Totenkopf were central in the Battle of Prokhorovka which is portrayed in the game so ...
