Mysticpuma Posted July 17, 2020 Posted July 17, 2020 (edited) Hi there skinners. I have long been a fan of the 325th FG and have made 3 documentaries on the group. I wonder if anyone would be interested in creating a pack of skins relating to the 325th Fighter Group which had a group of Pilots known as the "Fearsome Foursome". George Novotny - #27 "Ruthless Ruthie" on the port side and "Lady Janie IV" on the Starboard side. Edsel Paulk who flew #33 "Little Sir Echo" Herschel Green who flew #11 with the noseart of a cowgirl on the port side Cecil O Dean who flew #17 - noseart on the starboard side with a Panther eating a Messerschmitt. Appreciate that is a lot of work to request but I hope someone may be interested, cheers, Mysticpuma Edited July 17, 2020 by Mysticpuma
352nd_Siqhter Posted July 20, 2020 Posted July 20, 2020 (edited) @Mysticpuma I'd like to try and do the other two, but for now here are Green's and Dean's (rhyming time, I guess) P-47s. Enjoy! Well, not 100% sure, but as far as I know, the chef responsible was responsible just for one. And both, the pilot and his chief mechanic, worked hand in hand. Each sortie was discussed and analysed. Especially the German fighter pilots had very close friendship with their ground crew - the even took them on board when they had to escape in a hurry - mostly in the fuselage and sometimes plus another one in the cockpit.
