FTC_Riksen Posted April 11, 2020 Posted April 11, 2020 Here is another modification to PWCG I'm working on. I'll release it with the revamped LW theme as well and both will be associated with JSGME so they are easily interchangable. Some screens: 2
PatrickAWlson Posted April 11, 2020 Posted April 11, 2020 Very nice. Send them along and I will drop them in. No need to perfect them. Right now only one desktop is used for all nationalities. I can write a bit of code that will choose the desktop based on service and fall back on the generic one in case there is none fot that service. We also have to discuss inclusion of overlays. 3
FTC_Riksen Posted April 13, 2020 Author Posted April 13, 2020 @PatrickAWlson Yes sir. I'll send you the imageslater on today when I get back from work. S! 1
FTC_Riksen Posted April 21, 2020 Author Posted April 21, 2020 Here you go @PatrickAWlson, Sorry for the delay. Please note that it is still WIP and there a few more screens I want to change. I'm also finishing the LW version but things have been very busy here lately. I'll send that one too once it is all done! https://drive.google.com/file/d/1xIZyfK-Snub32TcSnzmNxbXsTVg34CYn/view?usp=sharing Cheers
PatrickAWlson Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 One of the things about delivering software: deliver when you have something worth delivering. Do not wait for everything to be there - if what you have adds value, ship it. Then do the next round. Thanks - looks good. 1
PatrickAWlson Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 @Riksen I added support for armed service based themes in PWCG, incorporating the work that you have done so far. You will see a new directory under "images" called "themes". From themes there is a directory for each service with a theme. In each service based theme it repeats the image directory structure. What PWCG does is figure out which service is in use and then, if available, chooses an image from the theme for that service. This should make further development of theme based UIs easier as you can work entirely in the theme directory and not have to worry about the generic version. 8.7.2 incorporated your RAF theme, the VVS theme that you gave me, and a single image that I made for the Luftwaffe. Next up: overlays 3
