Looks awesome! When you say visual models of the "first three" do you mean the three collectors planes, or the first 3 Normandy planes?

C-47! Very cool. Any plans to make it flyable in the future?

We have placed the order on the numerous ground vehicles that will be outsourced

I hope that the Volkswagen Kübelwagen is one fo them! I know we have the Horch as the German car in game, but I would love to have the Kübelwagen to add that immersion to the airfields.

Additionally, tractors and trolleys with bombs would be very nice models to add to the airfield atmosphere, even if they are just static and cannot be animated.

That Skytrain looks so good, gonna take a guess and say that paratroopers will be modeled like in the Ju52?

Ok ...sign me up...wait a minute ..I already am!

Can I ask how is development going on the Hawker Hurricane? I bought this plane about the same time I purchased “Normandy”.

Ah yes!  Unarmed transports!  I'm sure I will enjoy shooting them down.  Well, probably going to collide with them several times.  Advanced apologies to anyone I ram in my zeal when they become flyable eventually.

Unarmed yo say? Surely you jest? Many firing points for crack rifleman to use...see:

( BTW I do seem to remember an highly unlikely claim of a Japanese fighter being shot down by men aboard a C-47...)

It makes the Tante Ju look like Rambo by comparison with it's single 7.9mm turret.

"No s***, there I was, huddled inside a C-47 with Tojo in a Zero bearing down on us, and me with only my trusty M1 Garand. So I popped off a full mag at the bugger and he went down in flames! But did I get a medal? No! The stupid metal clip thingy pinged into the air and hit the jump master in the eye. Got a dishonourable discharge for assaulting an officer! Kicked me right off the plane then and there. Landed in a Phillippine village with a name I can't pronounce. Anyway, that's the story of how I met your mother."

C47. The perfect beauty . So much useful and efficient. Made the passenger transportation profitable. Still used today. Only a DC3 replaces a DC3.

When it will become flyable.... one of the best day of my life for sure!

Okay, the DC 3 did it.

In 1959, at age 14, I made my first flight ever in an airplane in a Braniff DC3.

Since we are all going into self-quarantine anyway,

I am diverting funds for a new flight sim computer, for the day it becomes flyable.

Going to order FC1 too.

'Tin hats everyone!'

Looking good!

One question for the devs: Since most planes included will be relevant to the BoBP career and since they'll be released one after the other again - will they be incorporated into the BoBP career once available or after full release?

Asking because the C 47 would offer very interesting escort/intercept missions during market garden and I believe the battle of the bulge

Yup. Joining the "Please give me a flyable DC3" Squadron. My dad claims he flew on one in Africa in the 1970s...

Deleted a reference to the movie "The Wild Geese". Just watched a clip on youtube. It does rather - shall we say - show its age.
