Joystick stops responding in flight?

Occasionally, I will be in a bank and pulling slightly on the stick and if I look over my right shoulder in VR the joystick essentially stops being recognized and I am stuck in that turn until I either crash the plane or Alt+F4 out of game. No other keyboard commands work when this happens either such as bail out, etc. It seems to only happen when I am pulling back slightly on the stick and look over my right shoulder. Another person has had this problem that I know of, and I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced something like this. Oculus Rift in OpenComposite, X52 stick/throttle. It has happened at least once in every plane I fly so I don't believe it is a bug that is plane specific. All USB ports and devices have power saving mode disabled.

Interesting. It happened that yesterday evening my throttle stopped working in flight, the first time ever. I quit the game and opened the USB controller settings - the throttle was there and working. Maybe there is something? Coincidence? Aliens?

Guys are you using an powered hub, I did have the same effect on my cheap Aliexpress poweredhub, that was connected to my JS/peddals&quadrant.

Another point only for VR users, some motherboards like in my experience on the MSI Z270SLI, the USB header used for VR HS, most be free from all other USB devices. If not being exclusive being used for your VR HS, it looks to me its not consistent in data/power.  BTW Most motherboards do have 3 or more headers contain two or more USB connectors.

Use the dedicated VR port for your VR HS, as some do have an VR sign on a special USBport that contains an specific chip, btw the mouse, keyboard, rudder etc can also work decent on a blue USB2 port.

Just some suggestions, moderators just delete if not being interested.

My joystick and throttle are connected straight to motherboard USB. I also noticed that it usually happens while I am also pushing the PTT button I have set for discord. Maybe the button is set as a shift key? It is a button on my stick.

Mine is connected directly to the motherboard. But then this  has only happened to me once, so I can't really draw any conclusion yet.

It just draw my attention to see someone else was experiencing that too.
