This software is the one you actually can use to test all the actuators separately and if they are actually working correctly. There is also a massage/relaxing program you can use/test. Second, did you make sure that with the very same software, you selected the USB mode to run your Simshaker Pad. Because the Simshaker Wings software will only work in USB mode. Third, the Simshaker Wings software also has some test modes - did you ensure that your Pad is recognized and also working with the Simshaker Wings software, even before you launch IL2GB? Good luck Cheerio I have the Simshaker pad sofware as I've used it for DCS for several weekes. Using USB And yes the pad vibrates when I test in in simshaker wings. Does the wings support all planes in IL2? I'm flying FC1&2

Hi, I suggest to start the SimShaker Wings Launcher manually for testing purpose. Click on the corresponding icon in your system tray and you will get this: Untick the Auto Start option for the moment and leave it as is. All other options should be ticked (see screen). Now click on the button "Manual Start". This will actually launch the SimShaker-Wings software and you should get this: Here you can check the following while IL2GB is still NOT started/launched: - The blue windows title should show, if 1. The correct XML preset for IL2GB is active/recognized 2. Status of your JetSeat: Recognized and OK 3. Output option: Make sure Jetseat is activated (the left option) 4. Click on the "Test" button and see if your seat is responding. If all above is OK, then leave it like this and start/launch the IL2GB game. Note: I remember there was an issue when game was in "fullscreen" and SimShaker-Wings was in auto start the game would crash (or was it the opposite "non fullscreen?) Anyway, it happened to me, so I decided always to launch SimShaker-Wings manually BEFORE I launch my IL2GB game and everything works fine. Hope these steps will help you. Cheerio

I would say, that your file looks strange. IL-2 never keeps motiondevice and telemetrydevice portions one by one. It rather looks like you just added it, but if the game keeps them - we don't know.

Andre Posted December 16, 2021 Author Posted December 16, 2021 Looks good, so it should just work. If still no luck please try to temporarily disable firewall software. May be it blocks telemetry packets.

Andre Posted December 16, 2021 Author Posted December 16, 2021 You can't open that port in the Wings. There is no such a control.

Hey man, did you notice your device' state on top of the windows frame of SimShaker-Wings software? It clearly states: Not_Connected So this means simply that your JetSeat is not connected, not recognized or temporary not recognizable. Maybe your cable/plug is an issue. Make sure your device is plugged correctly in your computer and use a direct USB connection, avoid USB connection via USB-hub. There are some devices who do not like to be connected to an USB-hub, like f.ex. TrackIR etc. You have to make sure, your device is connected correctly/permanently. Because at the moment, it seems that your JetSeat looses connection and when running SimShaker-Wings software it will not work correctly. Cheers P.S.: Make sure your USB plug does fit/plug firmly in your computer. Had some wobbling USB-plugs too, so I slightly pressed the metal mantle of the plug so it fits tight in the USB port - but don't do this with brutal force and no tools, just with your finger tips. That's not the problem, here I'm running the game, and the seat is OK, and I can test it, it works fine, the USB is the same I've been using for 50 hours with DCS, so it's not a connection. There is no info comming from the game to the sofwhare.. As you see, it it's still waiting for singals for the port, which it isn't getting.

Here you will find my startup.cfg file. Rename yours and paste mine into your game's folder and try it. You have nothing to loose. And tell us about it. It won't break anything.startup.txt Just rename it to *.cfg - I can't upload the original file name for obvious reasons.

It's very embarrassing, but the problem was I had edited the wrong startup file. I had 2installations of IL2 and I edited the wrong one... Once I added the text to the right startup file in the right folder it worked perfectly, played 5 hours yesterday testing it. Works great for both ww1 and ww2. 1 1

ewen75 Posted January 3, 2022 Posted January 3, 2022 Hi, just stopped by to say thanks for the time and effort put into this software. Took a small bit of trial and error (with the cfg file) to get it working for my Buttkicker Gamer 2 transducer along with my existing NLR Motion Software. Then a little tweaking with the various Gain settings in SimShaker Wings and now the immersion is complete in VR. Looking forward to getting stuck into IL2 now, thanks again.

You may want to take a few minutes to review the documentation for the buttkicker as well as on Andres website.
savagebeest Posted January 7, 2022 Posted January 7, 2022 (edited) hi, im on the site and unable to buy wings. its not accepting my payment. any ideas? update: i was able to purchase using paypal with my debit card. sweet Edited January 7, 2022 by savagebeest
savagebeest Posted January 7, 2022 Posted January 7, 2022 (edited) So I'm using the demo version and woooow this is brilliant. The only problem is im getting some "bass" type audio along with the vibration. It only occurs with deep base. When I click the "test" button I can hear the audio along with vibration. Can I fix this? I'm going to try tweaking around but figured I'd ask. So after a couple of hours of tweaking I managed to tone down the bass noise accompanied with the buttkicker but it's still there. I'm not using a sound card. I'm using voicemeeter so that may be my problem. I'm using VR. so I think my vr audio is on the same with the buttkicker. I just may buy a usb sound card and hope it solves this issue. update: okay so i dont need a usb sound card or voicemeeter and it works amazing on vr. i simply plugged the Y-splitter of the bkg2 to the mobo audio jack (usually green but mine is red) and in the simshaker wings software select "realtek" (or whatever yours is called) as the sound card. then (i have windows 10) click on the little speaker icon on the bottom right next to wifi icon etc. and select your VR headset in my case "rift s" you shoukd be good to go. i hope this will help someone. savagebeest Posted January 7, 2022 Posted January 7, 2022 question, do both launcher and software have to be running?
Andre Posted January 8, 2022 Author Posted January 8, 2022 the launcher is optional, mostly for the user's convenience
