Hi all.

I’m relatively new to VR and IL2 (ex RoF’er) and I am having a heck of a time figuring out how to view my map in the cockpit. I’ve mapped it to my flight stick, and tried lifting my headset and typing “m” on my keyboard but to no avail. I feel like my dilemma is caused by using VR and I only see 3D in my headset and there are no 2D objects overlayed (map, mini-gauges, time acceleration notifications, etc.) I would greatly appreciate any help in sorting this out. Cheers!

The large map is the letter O.

Firstly you have to map the HUD "H" view to your hotas.

Hey Dude!

You might want to check out this thread about how to get a map to show up inside the game in VR so it looks like it's down in your cockpit/on your knee-board:

Haven't been able to fly (for various RL reasons) so haven't tested it lately to see if it still works with FC, but it was extremely cool for BoX.

Cool! Thanks, Panther! I’ll definitely check it out.
