SOLIDKREATE Posted November 10, 2019 Posted November 10, 2019 (edited) Here are the only two shots I can find of the P-51D I took pictures of 7 years ago with an iPhone 4S. As you can see there are no panel lines forward of the door. And some areas of the skins are more 'Chrome' that the others. Look at the leading edge of the wing roots and notice how smooth it is. Note the metal Horizontal Stabilizers versus the painted fabric ones of the 15 block and earlier. You can also note the 'Taile Warning RADAR Antenna. @361st_Bugsy @ICDP THE AIRCRAFT BELOW ARE -20 BLOCK. Note the Tail RADAR warning antenna on the forward A/C. You can see that light color square and the tine antenna. One these the control cable shrouds are fully painted. Unlike on the -15 where they are bare metal as shown above.
