Bit of hardware confirmation needed

Hi all,

 

Finding a bit more free time on my hands as life progresses and I'm looking to spend a bit more time indulging myself. My wife has given me the OK to take over the attic to create a bit of a sim pit. 

 

My PC is all AMD based:

 

R9 3900X

16GB 3200 C14 running at 3466 C14

GPU is either a Vega 64 (8GB) or Vega FE (16GB) depending on which workload I've booted into - Windows for a bit of Rn'R and Linux for a bit of ROCm fun. 

Storage is a couple of Samsung EVO Pluses in RAID 0

Monitor is a Dell 25" 1440 and or a Rift. 

 

Last time I checked, I was happy enough with performance at 1440

 

My Hotas is all CH Products and this is where the main query is.

 

I've put myself down for a KANTTORIN KONE throttle and I'm leaning towards a VKB Gunfighter with the KG12 and 200mm extension (I'm a fan of the 109E and FW190 A's) and for the rudders a set of MFG Crosswinds. Does anyone see any conflicts with the above setup?

It will run IL-2 no problems. A good setup.

Apologies, I was a bit vague with my earlier query. Not so worried about CPU / GPU, there is enough grunt there to handle IL2 ;), even though I'd probably eek out the last couple of fps with an Intel / Nvidia  setup for sure.

 

I am more interested if anyone has a VKB, KK and MFG setup? and if there are any quirks getting the 3 to work together.

I can speak on the MFG, have owned one for about 2 years and as far as I am concerned it is the best rudder peddles I have owned.

Really like my Gunfighter Pro ( with extension). Have it center mounted on my desk.

I do have the MCG Pro grip though, really like it- like to have as many buttons as I can.

 

Also a very happy MFG Crosswinds user, been running mine for almost 4 years without a glitch.
