Hello everybody,

We're in the second half of September and this means that the next update 3.201 isn't far away. This one will be massive and will bring a lot of new content as well. Three player controllable aircraft, AI bomber, new AI ground vehicles and of course, the new map - Rheinland. This map tops the records once again: 130 000 square kilometers of reachable terrain (401 x 324 km), 176 000 square kilometers total size (461 x 384 km), 225 cities and towns - a record number of big cities, 70 airfields - 67 of them have historically correct layout recreated using archive documents. For increased detail and historical accuracy, for the first time, we have used 4 airfield types on the same map - with concrete, metal, and unpaved runways and airstrips without runways.

Massive indeed. And you've tripled the building rendering distance? Bravo!

Ouch, the Quad Flak 38 could be a problem. :hunter:

Nice map!  Party like its 1939.

I would like to see the 1944/45 after the  "Party" hangover shots myself, certainly an option for both.

Great news! The highlight for me, besides the official announcement that the bobp is part of the update, is the increased visibility for ground targets.
Thank you very much for this!

Very impressive work!! I really love that tech like city builder, bridge builder, and distant rendering is being added to the platform. I'm sure that can be leveraged in future installments and accelerate development.

That P-38 is making me feel things I haven't felt for an allied plane since the Felixstowe...

And the mud-mover in me is absolutely delighted at the prospect of being able to see my target before I've passed it and missed my drop cue.

Fantastic job, this patch will be something truly special.

I am very impressed with the render changes. Bravo!

If buildings are rendering farther out it makes high-alt level bombing much more feasible. As long as your computer can do the render distance.

Anyone noticed that jagdpanther behind the flak?

I think it may be a Jagdpanzer IV? not sure without seeing the road wheels.

actually yeah it's a Jagdpanzer IV for sure, pics online match the hull config.

Buildings rendered further out should help the bombers out!

And everybody else because it will help in navigation

The biggest hit is going to be the building render distances, so luckily that is optional.
