X56 Second Throtle is not regerstring input

X56 Second Throtle is not regerstring input for controlling engine two.

The First throttle works for engine one.

I`m trying to fly the BF110, how the German Ace`s Flew during WW2.

To do a tighter turn, they would lower the flap`s a notch, and reduce the power of one engine.

Airflow going faster on one side, would help in the turning.

Another problem I`m having is:

Trying to set up the trim wheels to the Rotary Dial`s.

For example RAF Pilots used to Trim the Rudder a few notches.

So it would look like they are flying straight, this was used to throw Gerry`s Aim.

Anyhoo thanks for reading, hope this can be fixed

Yours always Charlie

I've got the X56.  Have you mapped both 'engine throttle 1' and 'engine throttle 2'.  This is what I have done to fly 2 engine planes.  I don't have the main throttle command mapped at all.  To fly single engine planes just lock both throttles.  I use 'hat 2' button on the joystick for rudder and elevater trim.  The only trim that works on rotaries is the 'adjustable stabilizer axis' for the Bf109's.

Apart from what @Jabo_68* just wrote, did you try out Logitech´s software, helping you to customize your settings?

Froogle did a video on it, explaining how to use it and he is also looking at what he called the "edge cases". Quite useful.

I haven´t tried out, what you are looking for, mapped my trim to one of the hat switches on the stick.

But it should work, since you can actually programm a potentiometer to work like a multiple stage switch.

And the axes can be programmed in the same way. At least it works for me. Cheers.

Cheers Guy`s Thx for the tips,

Next time, I will do some editing.

Jabo_68 Nice to know that the adjustable stabilizer axis' for the Bf109 can use the rotaries.

ROCKET_KNUT , cheers for the links and reminding me about the X55/56 programming software.

you have given me an idear using the Mode Switches ?

Also I`m thinking about setting up VoiceAttack to handle some of the Command Inputs.

Anyhoo, happy flying and hope to see you in the skys ?

You're welcome.

After the latest update rudder/elevator trim can now be mapped to the rotaries.
