GREAT!

I had just changed into a new set of underpants and now this!

 

Seriously: This has to be the most exciting update in months for me! Not only seeing a couple of peeks of the new map, but all three american BoBP fighters in a shot is very, very beautiful.

Can't wait for the announcement of the new collector's airplanes!

 

Gee, I think I'll just have to drink a gallon of bleach, to lower the excitement againt ??

This is a welcome update indeed! I love the new physiology model, the increased visibility (YAY!!!), and the ability to add personal photos to cockpits. Will that extend to Flying Circus? And the P-51 looks breathtaking. ?

 

Also...new collector planes? Sweet! I’m predicting 2 will be the DFW and the Breguet 14 for Flying Circus.

The new planes, and especially the new airfields, look splendid.

It does say that G-loads will affect you and your crew, so presumably there is some application of G-loads to the AI gunners etc. Presumably it would also affect the AI planes.

Also, my eyes must not be very sharp, I can't spot the distant planes in either pic. My namesake would be ashamed.

Fantastic work as allways. Whatever collector planes in the pipe, I will by them all. Just curiouse wich physiology-model the ai will use and what the impact on performance would be, if the full model is in use for all units.

It would also to be weird if they could add functionality without an update, 

I think that they mean they have added functionality for the beta build

Do new physiology model will affects AI pilots and gunners too?
Do physiology  limits are the same  for average bomber pilot as for average  fighter pilot?

Because it detracts from the other stuff we have going on and we want to make sure they are still possible after we do our pre-production research.

JU-88P yes, that one.

 

or perhaps some Radar equipped planes and some night missions?

I think the collector planes are likely to be western-front oriented, and like the other planes, fitting into the timeline but perhaps not exactly the theatre.

My completely unfounded speculation: Spit XIV and Flyable B-25 are the low hanging fruit and in demand. Mosquito would be amazing and I would pre-order it right away. Meteor...maybe? If they did all the work on jet physics i doubt they are done with jets yet. The other ones seem less likely to me.

I'd also moondance accross my desk if they added a P-51B/C (alias Mustang III, alias F-6B/C) or even a Mustang I/II (or F-6A).

Sabre IIA on +9lbs is not accurate for Bodenplatte, just like loading under 200 rounds per gun for a combat mission other than armed recce.

Of course, we cannot collect all this information about you, and take all these factors into account in such detail; such a model would be excessively complex, although it would probably allow the player’s best immersion into virtual reality. Nevertheless, we found that the most reasonable approach would be to choose a certain averaged model of an average pilot physiology

I'm hoping for one of these....

 

 

A flyable one of these would be fantastic...

The item in question has the wrong shape towards the rear. Should be streamlined not flat like the example in the picture and  I'm not sure if it would be visible from that angle if it was a drop tank like the design below.
