LLv34_Temuri Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 We were wondering why static block targets on our server were visible from such a short distance. @[TWB]Sketch was guessing that it was because there's no logic connected to the blocks. So I ran a test: First with how we currently had the blocks, i.e. just entities created for each block. -> You'd need to be practically on top to see the blocks when max zoomed out. Then I added a dummy counter and had the OnKilled events from the blocks trigger the counter. -> Blocks visible from about 3 km distance. @BlackSix Do you know if this is how it's intended to work? To me, it would make more sense that I get better LOD already when I've created entity for a block, without the need to attach any logic to the block. This, because we want to do "mission logic" with the background campaign application. 2
