barrydem41 Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 Hi all, I have a quick question for anybody that knows, were do I put the Panzer III-M skirt skins, I know skins go into data\graphics\skins\_PzIII-M, but I can't figure out where the PzIII-M skirt skins go. Thanks. Barry
Pierre64 Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 @barrydem41 @Hucky and @E69_julian57 Hi all, the skin of the skirts is encrypted in data\Vehicles1.gtp. The name is : _pziii-m02#1.dds (This is the ochre with green streaks. I didn't find the ochre, winter and "Wien" official textures skirts). (Note : you have to manually create the destination folder : \_pziii-m\textures in vehicles folder). an example below with some brown and a fictitious tactical number "112" quickly added on only one armour plate." : 2 2
barrydem41 Posted June 1, 2019 Author Posted June 1, 2019 @Pierre64, thank you very much for the info, I appreciate it. Barry 1
E69_julian57 Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 Hello Pierre64 Thanks for the info, but it does not work for me ..? The dds. What do we create for the skirts that name has to have ..? I put the textures folder inside the _PzIII-M folder, it is correct. The faldon gave him the name _ pziii-m02 # 1.dds as such ..? When you say vehicle folder, what do you mean ..? Clarify me something 1
Pierre64 Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 Hi all, Julian, you are right ! Some correctives to my post above : to associate a Pz III M with its appropriate skirts, name the Pz III skin : example&1.dds and the skirts skin : example&1#1.dds and paste them in : IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Moscow\data\graphics\skins\_PzIII-M 2
barrydem41 Posted June 1, 2019 Author Posted June 1, 2019 (edited) @E69_julian57 What you have to do is make a vehicle folder inside of the data\graphics folder. It would look like this data\graphics\vehicles\_pziii-m\textures. Then you just place the pziii-m02#1.dds file you make inside the texture folder. From what I can tell, the dds file has to be named pziii-m02#1. Hope that helps you out. Barry Edit Hi all, do it the way Pierre64 has suggested as it works, the way i suggested would change it for all official paintjobs. Thanks again Pierre64 finding out how to do it. E69_julian57 Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 Hello Pierre 64 I can not get it to work, I tell you what I did until now. I created a skin and the name PzIII-M_3SS_Div_totenkonf 1 I added the 1 and put it in the PzIII-M folder, inside I created the textures folder where I put the dds. called PzIII-M_3SS_Div_totenkonf # 1. This does not work for me.
Pierre64 Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 Julian, IMO, the name of your Pz III-M skin should finish with &1 and its optionnel skirts skin name with &1#1 Please, try : Totenkopf&1.dds (for your PzIII skin), and : Totenkopf&1#1.dds (for your optionnel skirts). And paste them in data\graphics\skins\_PzIII-M Greetings, 1
E69_julian57 Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 Copy the names for the skin and the skirts and pasted in the PzIII-M folder. It still does not work...?
Pierre64 Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 Does your skin folder name begin with a bottom dash ? Like that : _PzIII-M 1
Hucky Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 (edited) It works, here is a test tank, vielen Dank für die Hilfe Edited June 1, 2019 by Hucky 1 1
