Misty06 Posted November 7, 2022 Posted November 7, 2022 POOR YANK gets the chop for pissing off the GRRRR-MANS in his Jug huh ? Meanwhile FO Smedley Featherstone gets away unscathed in his Typhy back to the mess. I see how you roll Rap !!!!! ? 1
esk_pedja Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 This Jug has a very terrifying monster plane look ...but it is a huge fuel tank, very susceptible to "catching" flame (into great ball of fire) in every "even" dogfight ( If it's speed and numerical superiority doesn't prevent a classic dogfight ) 1

Raptorattacker Posted December 6, 2022 Author Posted December 6, 2022 (edited) P-47D-28 Based on a D-25 model, this is Francis 'Gabby' Gabreski's mount in July of 1944, based at Boxted, England. Francis Stanley "Gabby" Gabreski (born Franciszek Stanisław Gabryszewski, January 28, 1919 – January 31, 2002) was a Polish-American career pilot in the United States Air Force who retired as a colonel after 26 years of military service. He was the top American and United States Army Air Forces fighter ace over Europe during World War II The skin can be got on HSD in both censored and uncensored versions. Gedm Posted January 29, 2023 Posted January 29, 2023 Your Grandboy looks to be developing a worthy interest, luckily, he's got a great Elder to share it with. His artwork is quite reminiscent to probably many on this forum. Thank you for sharing! 2

SARFlytitus Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 YESSS!!! GREAT!!! Indeed something to be very proud ! Some 6/7 years ago my nephew used to play with cement, Humbrol and sandpaper on some of my old Airfix kits, next step was learning to fly some of my RC planes and then he asked me a copy of IL2 GB as Christmas gift … This summer, end of august, he got his wings and PPL at age 17 !!! Yes, for an old aviation enthusiast uncle , this is something to be really proud ! Wellcome to a new generation of aviation maniacs!!! 14 1 4
