Installing JSGME correctly - help please!

Hi Folks,

I am trying to enable a few mods for the game, but I am doing something wrong. (if this post is in the wrong section, moderators please move or delete - with my apologies)
I have installed JSGME in my root folder for the game....C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad. Screenshot attached.

However, if I download and unzip mod files and put them in the "Mods" folder JSGME has created, enable mods in the main game menu - nothing happens.

I am reasonably familiar with JSGME in IL-2 1946 and run many mods with no problem. I assume the format is the same for IL-2 Great Battles. But I must be putting things in the wrong place, or unzipping incorrectly. So if you are able, please confirm I have JSGME in the right place for it to work in IL-2 Great Battles.

Thanks for your help :)

Open the JSGME folder and run the set-up application.

This should also download a desktop icon. Once the app has done it's thing double click on the icon and the app will open showing your installed mods. Click on a mod to highlight it and using the arrow tabs move it to the right side to activate. Then close and launch the game. That's all there is to it.

Thanks for the prompt reply @Gordon200 I have done exactly as you suggest, re-installed JSGME from scratch, put the two mods I wish to use in the "MODS" folder JSGME created, enabled them (Screenshot attached) from the desktop icon, but they don't appear in game. I do have mods enabled in the main game settings, so I am at a bit of a loss. :(

Thanks for your help anyway tho buddy!

That screenshot doesn't show JSGME installed in your IL2 root directory.  It appears to be in a folder.  You need to run the .exe file and install directly into your IL2 root directory and don't create a folder named JSGME.  Here is how mine looks.851478795_Screenshot(4).thumb.png.b4a88e5bc2874c101fedbb810f6012b3.png

Sorted, thanks very much indeed for your help and assistance chaps.  @czech693 that was the problem - JSGME was in a folder (which it created itself! -I must have unzipped it incorrectly) I now have mods enabled that work :)

Thanks again,

Kind Regards,
