@BlackSix  because in your last post where I quoted you, you said "till April 1, 1945",  so I was thinking it goes to the April 1st that the April 1st is the last day in the career timeline. And because I was thinking this way that the April 1st is the last day in the career timeline I was thinking if BlackSix is planning to add some funny Easter eggs for this day?

one flaw I see in BOX is the inability to fly a non historical campaign in any aircraft, from a Spad to a Spit IXe.

That would be great, but even now at prime time both popular servers are at 84/84 online, and it takes 30min to get in if your lucky, i hope they consider increas of player slots to abow 100 for when BoBp comes out as with new players some will be onliners.

Will we get someday 10 min fuel injection system ( C3-Einspritzung) for FW-190A-8?

I mean not only ground attacker, but also standart (fighter) versions.

Some info about MW50 and GM1 for A-8 also would be great to read

ehm... have you ever hit the boost butten when flying the A-8? ?

I am almost positive there is no boost for the a-8, "w" being the default boost key no?

Oh there is one! And it puts that big clumsy plane into fighter mode for 10 minutes - which ends with many dead allies quite often.

I wonder why there was no word about this system in DD, and also no mention about it in ingame plane description.

So, as I see, A-8 has 4 engine modes:

1) "cruise" (up to 80-81%)

2) "combat" (81-87%)

3) "starting" or "emergency" (87-100%)

4) "emergency boosted" (100% + С3-Einspritzung) 
 

Btw, in "emergency boosted" mode engine overheats like hell, so you have to open cowling flaps pretty much and it eates most of you "boosted" speed...

If you start the fight with a precooled engine you can close the cowl shutters to 25% easily.

Or he start the fight in rain - Rain Effects have superior cooling effects.  In summer he can use the A-8 to roast fried eggs. In winter it's cosy warm in the cockpit time for to unpack the summer clothes...........?

Rain has nothing to do with how hot the engine gets.

If I sprayed water on my radiator it would certainly increase the cooling capacity of it. I mean they literally make intercoolers where you can hit a button and have water sprayed onto them for turbo cars.

The P-47 does. Difference is it goes into your combustion chambers not your intake.

It was absolutely mentioned or I would not have mapped it to my hotas the day the AC was released.....

why do all of you have to map that boost button now? did you guys never fly planes like the 202, the La-5 or the A-5 before? O.o

Yep, the P-47, the F6F and the F4U all used water injection. All R-2800 engines.
