Access to Forum

Hi

There seems to be a strange problem (certainly to me, in the UK) with using the Forum when trying to log in from the Main Il 2 page (see image). Strangely I can get here from hitting any link in , say, an email. I just thought it was appropriate to bring this to someone's attention is all... it first started appearing yesterday afternoon 10/06/2018 and is still here today (and I DID see a comment in here somewhere where someone was building up a head of steam wondering if there was some sort of update!).

Same here but only with Chrome but works with Microsoft Edge

Yup. I've still got the same issue.

 

I've now noticed that Chrome reports that it is blocking access to the site due to 'Insecure content': 'This page is trying to load scripts from unauthenticated sources'.

Weird! I only use Chrome as well and it's only started happening in the last couple of days. I suppose there'll be some workaround deep in the bowels somewhere. Until then it's a pain in the arse having to click on an bloody email to gain access!

Anyway, thanks for the comments guys, it's at least good t'know that it isn't just yourself...

I use 'Ghostery' and it had blocked the site or some of the content so I unblocked it and BINGO!!

This is merely a warning that it is better to keep away from the website you were attempting to visit. There is, however, an option allowing users to bypass this warning and enter the site. Even though it is not advisable to remove Deceptive Site Ahead filter from your browser, you can do that by following these simple steps:

 

• Start Google Chrome.
• Click Menu or More icon in the upper-right corner.
• Select Settings and Show advanced settings.
• Go to Privacy and deselect Protect you and your device from dangerous sites.
