Stlg13/Sgt_Schultz Posted February 6, 2018 Posted February 6, 2018 Hi Detcord. I've got a G-6 request, if you're interested... (still can't believe it hasn't been done yet). Walter Schuck's G-6:

DetCord12B Posted February 9, 2018 Author Posted February 9, 2018 (edited) Thanks for the suggestions, gents. Will keep those in mind and I'll do my best to get them done once a template is released. Or I'll create one myself as I did with the G4, or hybrid that is. On 12/12/2017 at 8:27 PM, II./JG77_BlueCordBandit said: Many thanks for a JG77 skin! Posted an link to it in the II./JG77 forum. Added two more to the late-war lineup. Make sure you overwrite when prompted as Y7 received a few texture updates. FYI, file name has changed to JG77 Bodenplatte G4 Pack as it now includes 3 aircraft schemes. More to be added at a later date. Edited August 29, 2018 by DetCord12B Image Removal 4
7./KG51_Baumbach Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 (edited) Hi Det,love the Stukas you have created in 4K,would you consider creating this one from StG2 please ?.......a similar skin was created some time ago,but that version had green spinners, and was not a 4k version. I just love this red/black spinner version, and obviously a 4k version would be a real treat. https://img2.lght.pics/4d43f1d020752adc489a0efc17576fb4.jpg Edited February 9, 2018 by 7./KG51_Baumbach

Trooper117 Posted February 14, 2018 Posted February 14, 2018 Hi Det... I know my suggestions for the G-6 have already been done by another skinner ready for when the G-6 is released, but they won't be correctly marked due to the Russian laws etc, that's why I was suggesting them to yourself. Hope you find time to do them

Any info (reference material) on the aircraft would be greatly appreciated though. Saves me a lot of Google searching. Did they really paint the prop blades as well? Thanks Det......this would be much appreciated,re reference material,I only have that one picture to go on unfortunately, the picture came from Osprey's Junkers Ju87 Stukageschwader Of The Russian Front by John Weal. It was part of the 5./StG 2 Immelmann Kerch IV Crimea from April 1943,this Ju87 was flown by Staffelkapitan Oberleutnant Gunther Schmid, sorry I can't be more helpful with the reference pictures.

The problem with that scheme is that I couldn't find anything on it, minus what you posted that is. For example, it looks almost entirely green (RLM 72/70?) which I know must not be the case but I have no idea what the contrast is. It also has a numerical 1 on the port gear but what's on the starboard? And the upper surfaces look to be a different camo pattern entirely.

Yes,I know,it's a difficult one isn't it,maybe a little artistic creativity is required Det,the splinter pattern is made up of the two greens RLM 72 and RLM 70 as you've pinpointed, both dark, that's for sure. The spinner is partly made up of red and black. The skin in the picture shown by bzc3lk's post 96 looks far too light IMO,I don't know who created that, but with all respect, the contrast between the two greens is way too different. One of the reasons why most Ju87's look as if they are almost one green,is the two greens are very similar, the picture references used by Osprey books are usually very accurate,so I'd follow this as good picture reference. Re the number on the port gear, from all the pictures I've studied, they all appear to have the number on both sides, does'nt make sense to only have the number on one side, being a recognition number,so I'd go for both sides mate. I'm really sorry I can't be of more help, but I'm sure what ever you create it'll look great.and if in doubt,I'd be really happy if it resembles the picture I put forward in my initial post, the Osprey profile. I did find this picture below that shows a Ju87D from a similar unit, from this you can see the darkness of the two greens and the red in the spinner is the real red colour that would've been used for these Ju87's.The Octane fuel yellow triangle decal is also shown just below the pilot too,see my initial picture. This is my take on it anyway for what it's worth. 87 Octane Fuel Triangle Ju87D 5./StG 2, Eastern Front, mid 1943 Edited February 20, 2018 by 7./KG51_Baumbach 1

=FEW=Hauggy Posted April 7, 2018 Posted April 7, 2018 Not too bad but I realized those are fictional.
BOO Posted April 7, 2018 Posted April 7, 2018 Detcord - you'll need to put the nose art under a spoiler as per the forum rules.
Luger1969 Posted April 7, 2018 Posted April 7, 2018 Hi Det beautiful (in fact all skins on this aircraft is great and to boot it is a beautiful aircraft). Trigger happy is my favourite and also apt for my flying. When and if you have time can you please consider an aircraft with the name of LUCKY LADY. When I was a boy and still read comics I always remember 1 about a B17 called LUCKY LADY. And for that I always associate names and nose art of american bombers with that name. Would be appreciated. I brings back good memories.
