Friday Night Bomber Flight Topic

i ve got a record of these flights bex ....(no remarquable screenshots to show  though)...   

yep thx to our NN friends , and to the french spit who escorts us on our  second run ( therion ? ) ....and also to the two La 5 Fn   who have also escort us with the spit  : they were the two contacts i ve spotted  circling around us ... they do escort us to the target and also on our RTB ... at least 25 % of the travel  back .    Thank you guys !

 

Concerning the ennemy spotted on our Base when we were just about to land , it was a  He 111  flying real high  5000 ? and alone .... he launched two bombs and destroy a fuel reserve on our base ...no escort nothing else than a high loner 111 ....

 

It was a cool mission ...  a nice restart ....AND I M SOOOOOOO happy Fnbf are back !!!!!!!

May be there was not any radio beacon I guess. Depend if the mission builder put one or not.

The first He111 mission there were two of us, and I totally missed the fuel dumps, then my real-life high command decided I should stop flying for the night. So I am glad to read that the my mission was successfully completed by my wingman later.  All good stuff, thanks to all who took part, and to [DBS]Tx_Tip for setting it all up.

Embarrassing flight for me. I stuck to my flight leader like glue, but we never saw much to attack. I’m so used to flying Axis that when we finally saw some Russian T-34 tanks, I quickly dropped my bombs on them. Luckily, my aim was bad and I did no damage!  And my flight was polite enough not to call me out for attacking my own tanks!!

 

Then I was shot down by a sneaky 109. 

 

At least I destroyed two bridges. 

 

Thanks again, TX_Tip, for all the hard work and hosting. Great to be back in the virtual skies fighting again!

I think Tip works very hard on these missions, and if he says plane sets are not finalized and signups will be Sunday, all of us can be patient and wait to raise our virtual hands and ask for planes until then.
