Now that is lunacy. There are many that will wonder at the lack of Russian AC after Set 8, they all disappear. Now I don't fly the allied side but If I did and I might not be happy at the lack of Russian Aircraft in game, to be all replaced by western allies aircraft. You know, the war in the East did not end when Normandy landings happened. There was still almost a year of hard combat in the east that got the victory over the German Army, that's where the vast majority of German soldiers died, not the western front. Please put back several Aircraft, give the Russians their IL2's and all of the Yak Fighters they like, and the PE2 is a good attacker as well. Plan is to go back to map specific RPS we had some time ago, so no western front planes on eastern front maps and vice versa. 1

So if the maps started with eastern front, say Kuban. If after 8 planeset changes would a winner be declared and planeset 9 would then start a new western campaign ? When say the western campaign started, set 9, would the same happen for those maps, declare a winner after 8 planesets if 1 isn't already won ?. Also, a slight question on planes. Why limit the HS129, it served for awhile in the east and also, if the Mosquito is at temps and front airfields, would it not be fair to have the ME-410 there as well instead of just the rear ? The mosquito should be in the same cat., both have good firepower, the molins 57, that was on 17 planes total and never flew over the continent aside, they are very similar and firepower is matched

Most likely it was, but it was by chance when I started flying in a VR helmet, due to accidentally pressing the ejection button in the blind. That was about a year and a half ago. Now I can't fly on the server even after completing the supply flight. Is it possible to fix this, remove my ban? Because I have been loving and flying on your server for many years. The nickname in the game is - 712th.

It needs to be done to an airfield that is in need of supply. 1

The chance to get captured is a function of distance to the frontline(nearest point to the side who bailed out / ditched). You can bail 100km from the border and manage to get away, but it is highly unlikely. Distance to airfields or other target objectives doesn't affect this currently.

As I understand it, you can drop bombs and jump out. You'll only get a reduced coefficient. If this is the case, it's a strange decision.

Klitschko Posted September 7 Posted September 7 The FAQ page with the mission time remaining, etc says set 10. If you go into the map, we do not have set 10, but we have set 5 as the IAR is still in there, 109G2, 190A3 and no HS129. I'm still not sure what the problem you have with the HS129 being used much earlier, wasn't it deployed to the Eastern Front in early spring of 42 ? For a fact, the Hurricanes had 303 MG's only until dec42/Jan 43 at the earliest before the Russians started putting 2 20mm cannons and 2 hmg's on them. Seems very suspect in your application of when planes are in game. You should use historical dates, or at a minimum, not delay AC past the date they were being used in combat !

Klitschko Posted September 13 Posted September 13 FAQ sats set 10, we are actually on set 5. We do have the 190A3 in there. That is very odd as the HS129 was deployed to the eastern from in May/June 1942, 190A3 nov/dec 1942. Why are you not letting us use this plane in many more sets ? Things like this are why the server went from waiting to get in, to having 1-4 people on during the week. Let the planes come in when they did. Let the weapons for the planes appear when they did. Why separate the planesets and remove the western allied planes in eastern maps, only to use the same bs balancing act that cost the server most of it's players. Let the planes appear on time, let the pilots figure it out

It seems that While the tanks may be at set 8, the Planes are currently at set 4. This has been happening for awhile now. Not having the plane sets correct in the FAQ page, and not having a visual representation like before is possibly another contributing factor to driving down the server #'s. I see people pop in if I'm on, probably to check map or planes and then immediately exit. It almost seems like the admins of the server are intentionally trying to drive down the #'s prior to them shutting the server for good. All of the recent changes seem to have had an effect that drove #'s down, not up, whether intentional or not. I was online last night and flew a mission with the 110 G2. The faq said set 8 and I think it probably was set 8 due to the AC in game, namely the 190 A5 which earliest is set 7. Now I did notice the had the 1.42 engine for 110 G2 locked out, which is kinda bs, it says 1943 right in the equip description, oh well. Habits of limiting the Axis AC non historically has long been a finnish server staple to keep the allied side from whining. Interesting how the hurricane gets russian heavy mg and cannon, (dec 42/Early 43 is reality) immediately, and then 4 20 mm hispano cannons , which were probably never deployed to russia. The hs129 isn't available for half the sets, it was in the battle before the hurricane had anything other than 303's as I believe the 109 F2 and F4 were, in early 42. It is very interesting indeed how the sets are set up. My guess would be that if you are trying to get server #'s back up, a reversal in course on most of these sets is in order. I believe that the vast majority of player base could care less about any sets that don't have decent cannon loadouts and AC better than the E2 110 and E7 109 and IAR. Those early sets are a novelty, people want firepower. Now there may be a # of people come in here and praise the sets and love the early sets. I would weigh that post vs time they have spent on server in the last month as well as the direction of overall server #'s for the last month, and maybe a clear picture will begin to develop. The AC introduction dates should be based on entry date into the battle. Some loose movement on those dates to keep things closer than the actual swings in advantage would be good. I would say that possibly some new Depot Targets should be constructed as well. The variety has pretty much been that same for a long time. Maybe we could have some players work on assembling some target groups that could be submitted to Finnish to look at and possible use. It might be an idea to make airfields and Tank spawn areas be destroyable. That side would still have the same # of spawns, just moved further back perhaps if 1 got destroyed
