Kinda interested to see what the new TC vehicles will be tbh, if they have to round out the 1943 set more I totally expect a StuG for the germans... Not sure about the soviet... Maybe a lend leased tank?

T-34/85 is a summer 1944 tank, a Su-85 on the other hand was already available by fall of 1943

Well, we can stop refreshing the pre-order pages at least :)

It has been stated that they'll fit with Prokhorovka/Kursk... so the 85mm gun tanks and non-lend-lease tanks are out (as are some of the earlier war tanks). Hence why people are saying that the StuG and Churchill Mk.IV are the most likely.

Yeah, T-70 and T-60 are actually favourites of mine (even more-so than the BT-7M)! Might need some weaker infantry units and supply units in a campaign though - given the inability to take on enemy armour except from flanking at close range (and then mainly before 1943)

Will we still get the announcement of the two collector tanks?

I'd assume that it won't be until sometime next week - especially if they are going up for pre-order at the same time they're being announced.

They were to be announced before the end of the month.
Maybe other people than Jason can make the announcements (and open the pre-orders)

5 000 000 Shades of Blue.

@BlitzPig_ELImagine us as a Torpedoboat Tender. But the Boats are heaved abord every night and then they go out following very specific Patterns to measure Depth by Day. We have 4 small "Torpedo Boats" for measure Depth in those Davits, 2 per Side.

All I want for Christmas is something from Mr. Sopwith's Pet Shop. But I'm willing to wait until 2023!

Imagining that it is to be the Churchill IV, which is at least the most different Allied tank available from Kursk, I wonder if we'll see any of the gun variants. I don't believe that any of them were actually given to the Soviet Union, but the 95mm Close Support Howitzer would be a significantly different option for busting bunkers and (allegedly) cracking cats at short range. Remodeling work should be relatively minimal, the tank is externally identical but for the other gun and the interior will only really have changed in the breech and ammunition stowage. The QF 75mm is less interesting but still neat to have.

I appreciate this would be more work, but it would be fun!

If it is the Churchill, and I think there is cause to think this will happen, we will be limited to what was available at Kursk.  I have no idea what the Lend Lease Churchills actually were.

I'm asking Santa for a Stug IIIF or a Nashorn....and at least one dark Panzer cammo skin for each model in the Official Skin folder.  And I have been good this year!!

I would like Jason_Williams  to have a look at the Finnish virtual Pilot server (the most successful of all servers) to understand why choosing the next two collector tanks is important for online players.

Unfortunately, the team that produced TANK CREW does not seem to be on this path.

I already think that the KV is the worst pick in the allied TC set of tanks, another infantry support heavy tank will definitely be a miss for me. Would definitely prefer to see a Su-85 even if it was late for the battle of Kursk to at least provide the allies with a proper tank hunter (the Su-122 and 152 aren't exactly handy albeit Powerful)

The KV we have is KV-1S, which downgraded armour to T-34 levels to upgrade speed to T-34 levels. It's not actually a heavy tank, it's a T-34 in disguise. What you will find with the Churchill IV, should we get it, is that actually has enough armour to deal with long range 88/Long 75 shots and the QF 6pdr gun is more effective against armour than the 76mm or 75mm guns the Allied tanks currently have, as well as having a flatter trajectory. The speed is the downside, but the upside is a proper Allied heavy tank to match Tiger or Panther. It's not magical by any means, but it's credible.

Even if it's not 100% the right model a Churchill could also be dropped into the Normandy/Rheinland maps and look the part, too. Make the Sherman less lonely

Churchill IV with 6pdr was the main model received by the RKKA and is also absolutely correct for North-West Europe 1944/45.

For me they made big mistake by limiting new collector tanks to same timeline as TC, Churchill IV is more useless then TC tanks vs Tigers, Ferdinands and Panthers in 1 v1 enviroment slow and poor gun, aror will not save him it will just resoult in more complains from axis how bad balistic/DM in game is ( more of what you get now when they cant destroy shermans).

Tank play need better soviet tank when you cant have numbers advantage they had in real ww2 they would have better if they just pick 2 german tanks at this point. I hoped for TC2 anouncment and we get this bad option lol they are skip for me

That could well be true for multiplayer - as for me, in single-player - I'm actually more excited by the idea of a StuG and a Churchill IV than I am about the other tanks in the line-up (although the KV-1 and ISU-122 are cool). So I might actually purchase TC because of them (something I'd neglected until now)!

That'd be especially true if we ever got the Mk.VII - with its ~150mm of armour (not to mention being up-gunned).

Of course, I find the Mk.I interesting as well - two cannons (one in the hull) - and fully exposed treads making it look very WWI.

Both were used on the Normandy map.
