SYN_Haashashin Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 The Syndicate in association with DBS, JG5 and the colaboration of The Tangmere Pilots and the Frech community proudly presents: "Blood in the Skies" - Planeset: - Russian: 18 LaGGs, 6 Yak1 and 3 of each on reserve. - German: 12 He-111, 12 109G2 and 3 of each on reserve. - Time: 18:00 UCT - Date: Sunday, May 10th. - Server: Syndicate Squadron. - Description: This is the first "coop" style event organized on this side of the community. We invite other squads and individual non-afiliated pilots (willing to follow their CO/flight líder orders) to join us. This teaser mission will consist in 1 mission, 2 hours long max but mission will end if the attacking side (in this case the Germans) complete their objective before that. Plane number will be limited to 1 per slot on the server plus 6 more planes in reserve (to be use in any case). Orders will be handle out by the German and Russian COs. Server will use a password and it will be handle it out by PM. IMP: We will use a big time penalty for changing sides, so be sure you select your side right on start. In the future the idea is to link missions together. As a mini semi-historical coop campaign and thats why I consider this a test/teaser. - Rules: Follow CO orders and be on TS. Dead German pilots can join their teammates as gunners. (can be updated) - Sign up: If you are willing to participate, sign up here posting prefered plane. SYN_Haashashin Posted May 6, 2015 Author Posted May 6, 2015 Jacko, The planes are limited to 1 per person and I placed some reserve planes just in case (disconnections, etc..) and of course if the CO want to use them to deploy another flight once the first ones are back, its up to the CO. It will be dead is dead if we get full house. Edit: Waiting to see if Von_Tom accepts the Russian CO position .

There is an extra contingent from Tangmere - Jab, Hunter and Nummy. They'll have LaGGs. To all VVS pilots, if you're part of a squadron I need someone to PM me an email address so I can circulate a rough plan as soon as possible. We'll meet up on TS about 30 minutes ahead of time to deal with questions/answers on tactics (any earlier than this and Dr von Tom may put me in a world of pain). We only have a couple of days to mull over tactics so if I circulate something please let me know suggested changes asap. Haashashin, please let me have the email addresses for two or three section leaders for SYN. If you're flying alone, please let me know and pm me your email address because I'll slot you into a section. Ideally I'll slot SAG, =FI=Rambo and Tomcatqw into sections with members of SYN as it's better to have individuals encompassed within a group of people who know each other compared to individuals flying together as a section for the first time. If anyone objects to that, let me know. And VVS note that dead is dead. Cock up a takeoff and we're down a pilot and a plane. In the LaGG, make sure you get used to shifting the prop pitch to coarse then fully fine before taking off - sometimes it sticks in coarse and you just go round in circles. We don't want anyone taking out a whole section. Haashasin can we have extra channels in TS so as to set up comms for the day? PS : DBS always welcomes new bomber pilots who are willing to participate in team flying and wish to train in formation, bombing tactics etc. If people would like to get a feel of it but are hesitant due to lack of experience, they should be more than welcome to join us in this mission as gunners. (i 'm assuming that's allowed by mission rules - admins?)
