ST_Catchov Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 A lady from the 80's .... And some Gentlemen from the same period .... 1
ST_Catchov Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 Before Joan Jett and the Blackheads there was them Arrows boys. Who knew? But more importantly, for my Euro friends .... We have Pet Clark singing "Chariot" in French .... convincingly driving a wagon in the wild, wild west of the 1880's. And again "Cheerio" in German .... a woman undoubtably of impeccable taste and inimitable talent. This one's for you @Jaws2002 1
ShampooX Posted May 23, 2023 Posted May 23, 2023 RIP Andy Rourke - one of the best bass players ever. 1 1

356thFS_Melonfish Posted May 24, 2023 Posted May 24, 2023 Motorhead + Sabaton. Turns out to be a great cover. Oddly a comic strip, and a band: Belzebubs. If you don't like the music I highly recommend the comic, it is actually hilarious. And of course, A pale horse named death. Hoping they get the funds for a new album/tour sorted soon, covid did a number on the band.
Gingerwelsh Posted May 24, 2023 Posted May 24, 2023 This is my era, when people played instruments and the music had energy. 3 2
ST_Catchov Posted May 24, 2023 Posted May 24, 2023 Hmm yeah well, there is Blondie in the flesh. Enough of that friends & followers. Here's a tender rock song from a raunchy Scottish beat ensemble (tartan 'n' all) about farewells, good riddance b####, and so on and so forth. A classic tale of Scottish culture and legend. And yet here's summat about a guv'nor wot wants to get back to his "babe". Figure that one. UnScottish. Possibly English. 1
