There are "supply" Bf-109s, 110s, Yaks and everything else.  None of them carry supplies of anything.  There is no weight of cargo.  It's just an ill-defined ferry flight.

Do it twice and then take a 109sup kapuff 2 new planes in your personal hangar.

Maybe I just discovered a bug.

I killed myself on accident with a bomb, because I forgot that my bombtimer was set to 0 seconds. 

 

Target was a ship. I am sure it was an enemy target, because it got counted in my stats.

Also it was marked red (i was axis) and Im not an idiot 

 

Now i got banned for 24hrs.

 

I assume the server noticed me bombing a friendly plane, even it was the plane I was in..

 

Well, maybe somebody is able to unban me, otherwise I need to fly on WoL and wait for the next evening.

F---ed up royally - on an armed recce in the enemy's rear, I trimmed my LaGG-3 a few kilometres off a major German airfield to fly circles so I could go and make myself a cup of coffee. After resuming control 3 minutes later, I took heading 090 presuming my location was roughly the same.

 

As I headed home without having found any targets and still carrying two FAB-50s, a German ship was discovered. I figured I could go and look for it.

 

Near the Volga already, I saw a ship in the distance and I figured that was it. I double-checked the landmarks and sure enough there was a little city to the East of the river, a village to the West and a little bridge, so I was in the right place.

 

Flying just below cloud cover to avoid detection, I ran the engine up to 2600 RPM and entered a climb, preparing to attack. The ship was now to my 10 o'clock. I dropped the throttle, dipped the nose and rolled in. No flak so far. I approached the target and counted. 3... 2... 1... Release!

 

The FAB-50s unhooked one after the other and I began climbing, rolling to see the results. What a perfect attack that was! Until...

 

Boom! "Soviet ship destroyed." My jaw dropped. And again, boom! I don't think I've ever made such a neat and accurate attack on a moving ship. Two direct hits at 500km/h, coming in at a good angle, moving to avoid any flak... It was perfect.

 

Cursing everything I turned East as the ship sank and sure enough I realised where I actually was, with a friendly airfield within 10km. The server kicked me before I could land, saving me an excruciating time at the tribunal.

 

In other words - sorry!

If we got the flyable JU 52 I will turn over to LW and fly supply only. I would be the king of supply points. We must nag about the JU 52, and keep silence about the LI 2. When we got the JU 52 then we nag for the Li-2

I've been flying quite a few armed recons recently, but despite over flying quite a few and various targets, I don't seem to be getting a 'target discovered' and no target appears on the map. So what am I doing wrong?

 

While it's not impossible that I could be lost and actually over flying friendly positions; but I don't expect that's the case those times I am getting flak.

I have experienced the same thing, I often fly high altitude 3 K + is this too high to get targets to show themselves? I see a lot of fabrics and stores down below. But no recognition

Stig, I get the same thing. But today while you were flying some objectives they popped up in the map. Perhaps they are not showing up for the person who discovered it?

Since the 109Es are quite useless at Supplying, why not change them to reconaissance Duties in unlimited numbers, same as supply aircraft.

 

Also, why don't I get any points for flying dangerous Recon Missions deep in enemy territory? Because sometimes I'm in the mood for flying, but none of my friends are Online and my supplies are stacked to the roof with airplanes, and I love getting points by being useful and I'm no useless Lone-Wolf Dogfighter. 

I want to help my team by discovering stuff for them to attack in coordination, I don't need guns or bombs for that.

 

TL;DR:

-unarmed fighters as Recon instead of Supply

-disallow normal aircraft to mark small targets on the map, just warehouses, stations and other and larger structures.

-Convois, Tanks and Artillery should only be marked on the map by Recon Aircraft.

-Increase Recon Range for Recon Aircraft or decrease it for normal ones.

-Normal Aircraft can always attack small targets they see, although they are not marked on the Map.

 

No H8 plz.

Good idea, but the trigger that see aircraft entering in their range can distinguish types, eg. Bf 109E, BF 109G... but can't distinguish BF109E unarmed, Bf 109E armed...

That thought had crossed my mind. I don't even know if the objectives should appear right away; after a delay or perhaps after returning to base?

I flew once a K from target and suddenly got a message about it discovered, I assumed it was me detecting it. I bombed it and happily went home in belief I discovered and bombed it. But it could be one that just landed that detected it. I simply do not know

-Why the E7 doesn't have the 250 kg bomb option. Fully understandable for F4 G2 and FW as they not used much as jabo in the time of the battle, but the E7 was . 

Could it be possible to change it ? 

(Or maybe there is an historic reason, as 250 bombs were not used in that period, but on this I am ignorant)

Haha, nah, landed first. Lucas completely missed the airfield initially and flew on I was in the way myself, turned around, saw you taxiing away and Lucas perform a perfect 3-point landing in the LaGG.

Yeah, I was on full pro navigator mode - "we should be over the airfield soon" ... "wait did I miss it? I don't see it!" "Yup, you missed it."

 

Nothing a 180 turn couldn't fix thankfully.
