Popular Post No601_Prangster Posted August 13, 2015 Popular Post Posted August 13, 2015 (edited) This guide was written as an introduction to the IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad Mission Editor for the mission builders in my squadron, the Tangmere Pilots. The Tangmere Pilots run a Sunday night co-op campaign that’s flown against AI opponents. The main tutorials in this guide concentrate on creating AI opponents and friendly units for multiplayer co-op style missions. I’ve also included some supplementary tutorials on setting up a new maps, dogfight maps and single player missions. Prangsters_ME_template.zip The template mission has all the buildings and frontline markers already included. Also included is a mission file with all the tutorials completed to use as a reference. There are bound to a lot of typos and mistakes so PM me and let me know of any you discover. Small remark: Maximum UL and DL in server settings are in Kb/s, I believe. In other words, setting it to 10000 will be about 10Mb/s. You gave examples, so readers should understand anyway regardless.

Click on a corner of the Blue triangle and a yellow selection circle appears." For me its a double click maybe its my setup. so could edit to "Select Object Menu/Edit Influence Area Boundary. Double-Click on a corner of the Blue triangle and a yellow selection circle appears." Onwards 1
No601_Swallow Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 (edited) Lovely stuff, Prangster. Tom's right - no one has any excuse not to start pumping out missions. I'd like to remind all: there is a "Group Sharing" thread. While in fond moments I envisage hippy-esque love-ins, this actually refers to a sputtering attempt to share functioning groups of objects and MCUs. Once you've got 'em, that is, once you've built up a library of groups, basic missions can be like lego - slot the groups together (with creative tweaks, natch!) and deceptively impressive results can be seriously straightforward. [And - sad to admit, but it's true! - it's more fun than being in game sometimes: getting shot down by [insert your own Dead-Eye-Dick here] every time you pause to admire the scenery!] It rather reminds me of templates - clever hard work in the structural bits makes it much easier to do cool stuff in the creative bits. When I create a unit interception Lagg this will put a complex trigger and area attack so that when between 109 unit is activated to start the attack, the problem is that the 109 does not trigger anything and unity is created and not to do it as if the trigger not recognise the enemy unit and not activate the plane lagg. In the trigger Double check that, You have the event ticked "Object entered alive" You have selected the aircraft from objects script list You have the country selected as Germany also to be safe tick the check entities. Then you need to check the LaGG is activated and spawned by the trigger with a timer. Can you post a picture of what you have in ME. Or open the finished mission provided by Prangster and make a group form the part that works and import it into your own mission to see any differences. Jade_Monkey Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 Awesome guide! I finally took the time to start the tutorials on the guide and I learnt a lot. I confess that when I tested on SP, the soviet AAA did not spawn but I probably messed something up. Do all the complex triggers work in SP and MP? I remember reading something about using different triggers for SP somewhere.
