ST_ami7b5 Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 Thank you for this! I followed your instructions the other night, but was unable to actually play until last night and I completely forgot I even made the change. I had my headset on and nearly jumped out of my seat when an La-5 got the drop on me and I heard "plink, bang, bang, boom!". My BOS sound level was defaulted to 60%, I believe. +1
IIIJG52BlackWest Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 I can not reconcile my account IL-2 with steam. How I can do?
Krause Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 (edited) The heading indicator in the BF 109 and FW 190 is not working for me anymore.. also I'm experiencing some weird physics behaviour. Not sure if this is a known issue but It's already reported in the technical issues forum. Edit: Heading Indicator Issue exists in any Luftwaffe aiplane Edited August 19, 2014 by Krause
II/JG17KaC_Wolfe Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 That has to be the most complicated user name I have ever seen, is there rhyme or reason to it? Sorry I cant answer your question as I am a SP. On my planet that's a name earthling
Zak Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Attention, pilots. The up-coming update scheduled to release this Friday is most possibly going to make your older track records unavailable. You might want to turn them into videos, for instance, if you want those records saved for future. Sorry for inconvenience. 6
Nage Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 (edited) I think I have a problem with update 75...I even reinstalled the game completely...I still have info about update 74 in the launcher and blur on the shape of the plane (when its flying from the clouds) which is said and confirmed by few customers - that is gone and fixed in the update 75. So what I can do now? Edited August 20, 2014 by tikvic

So what I can do now? Say what?? Where did you hear that the clouds issue was fixed. I haven't heard that, and I can confirm, that it is most certainly not fixed.
SYN_Haashashin Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 My experience says is much better, completly fixed? not yet.
dburne Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 My experience says is much better, completly fixed? not yet. That is my experience as well.

Finkeren Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Earlier in this topic..do you have info about update 74 or 75 in the launcher? Sorry. I just let the update install, noticed that it worked and paid the launcher no more attention.
Nage Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 (edited) Sorry. I just let the update install, noticed that it worked and paid the launcher no more attention. Fantastic. But can you now start the launcher and check if theres info about update 75? If yes, my launcher is broken since im still at 75 and blur effect is there (with no improvements from patch 75). SYN_Haashashin Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 As said by a lot of people, the effect seems better, for me thats for sure. About the launcher, yeah it seems they forgot to add update 75, but is that such a big deal?? I can see the FM improvements and the clouds one.

I just wanted to make sure my launcher isnt broken and that the game is updated correctly. I must admit that the "blur effect" is the same as before, for me. I have GTX 670 and 340.43 drivers.
dburne Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Sounds like Friday's update may be an exciting one... I know everyone is hoping for the HE 111, my fingers are crossed for some additional single player content. 1
Bearcat Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Can you still listen to/hear folks on Teamspeak? For TS you really should either get a USB headset or better yet get one of these and an inexpensive headset. Get one of the ones that looks like a thumb drive though not the ones with the cable. I use one of these from Microcenter and it works great. If the headset goes south you can just get another one... The USB sound adapter is seen as a separate sound source by Windows and you can assign TS to use it exclusively so I have the sim sounds coming from me speakers and only TS in my headset. 2

Livai Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 My experience says is much better, completly fixed? not yet. However there is not much time left to the 14 September and a lot work to do. Maybe to much for a completly fixed Version. The Question is how the Quality of the Product would be at the End if they speed up the progress for the release date. Special the Singleplayer Campaign need very much time if you use historical documents to rebuild Battle of Stalingrad how he was in the 1942. Could be that the Singleplayer would be only a side project. For all that is much time needed and time is what they not have.

It just haven't been part of Early Access.

On the flip side, it could also be that they have been putting forth a lot of effort into the SP Campaign and have just not made it available in the Early Access. That is certainly my hope.

While your concerns are valid, I really don't think the same people working on graphics are the same as the ones developing the SP campaign. A major part of the Description and advertising of BoS have been about SP..so would expect it at 100% release tree"d Cheers Dakpilot Edited August 20, 2014 by Dakpilot
Livai Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 (edited) The man that works on the Antialiasing won't be the same girl that works on the single player campaign that won't be the same guy that works on the cockpit models that won't be the same ... I really don't think the same people working on graphics are the same as the ones developing the SP campaign Did they somewhere said who is doing what? Like with the CPU and Graphiccard where I dont known which Cpu-Core or Shader-Core do what. I see only the result that comes out. Its a big secret who stay behind what like the Men in Black.... Rjel Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 update, update, update,oh September,update,update......who cares That's my feeling as well. If it gets to be October and no further updates appear, then I'm going to start getting worried.

Thanks for the heads up Zak. Usually when this sort of thing happens the patch has been pretty good ;-)

I see only the result that comes out. Its a big secret who stay behind what like the Men in Black.... The latest version the Dev's have is not the same as the early access version - we are several behind. Also, who cares who is working on what? What could you possibly glean from that information even if they told you? As I said before, just sit back and take it as it comes - your almost hysterical hyperactive typing isn't helping anything.
Finkeren Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 This just in: The upcoming update changes the format of the track files to optimize performance in replays. That is all.
II/JG17_HerrMurf Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 I woke up this morning and ran downstairs for THE BIG UPDATE only to find there was none. Terribly disappointed. Not even a, "it's going to be late message." Then I realized it's only Thursday. I blame the Dev's for it being only Thursday today.

RainMan Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 (edited) Just curious - will the Steam update coincide with the update of the non-Steam version? In other words, do us Steam users have to wait longer for the patch than everybody else? Edited August 22, 2014 by RainMan

In other words, do us Steam users have to wait longer for the patch than everybody else? We're doing our best to have no lag between updates of each version. You may have noticed it was rather small last Friday. 1
