The time it takes to build a good map is really insane. I can't even remember how many weeks I worked on the road/rail system of the Leningrad map. I hope in the future AI can help to reduce the time, for example when it comes to placing landscape textures and creating towns and roads, by extracting data from old aerial photos. In geoinformatics such technologies already exist.

I don't know, but swastikas are illegal on this forum.

Would like to know at what stage are Finish planes. When we can see first plane for example.

Yes, and in several countries. Do remember to censor such photos.

The Finnish markings are not a Nazi swastika, it was used as a military marking for Finnish forces from 1918... Having blanked out markings on Finnish aircraft will just look bloody stupid.

@Trooper117 Yes, it's pissing me too that they must to be censored as well even when they have nothing to do with the German swastika. But, it is what it is. If I didn't point at it, someone else would.

But back to the topic. It is interesting that both project started with a similar idea: "I want fly above my home". I personally don't want fly above my country because we have mountain in the middle and AI could have a problem. So I'll rather fly above your homes.

And that's the last off-topic post in this subject (the first part). Anything further along those lines will be removed.
