LUZITANO Posted October 29 Posted October 29 (edited) Please develop a pocket battle. A tank battle with a small map and few vehicles, costing at least half the price. Battle of Lake Balaton 1945 IS-2 Tiger II SU-100 Jagdpanzer Map with the size of Prokorovka. But the tank map doesn't need to have many details, just make it like the air maps. Most tank battles online are played on airplane maps. This battle is completed with the planes that are already in service in the game. Some of the tanks we already have are a natural evolution of the ones in Hungary. It would be easier to develop them further. Other collector tanks could be added, such as the ISU-152, Panther A, etc., or they could be used to stage the Battle of Berlin or as collector's items. Edited October 29 by LUZITANO 1
LUZITANO Posted October 29 Author Posted October 29 (edited) Battle of Brody (Western Ukraine) A pocket-sized battle royale with fewer vehicles and a simple map, at an affordable price. This was the largest tank battle of 1941. This battle would complete the collection of early war vehicles that are missing from the game. Tanks Pz. II T-60 Pz. 38(t) BT-7 Pz. IV. D KV-2 Other variants of the T-34, T-70, Pz. III, and Stug could be sold as collector's items or even added to the Battle of Moscow. Edited October 30 by LUZITANO
LUZITANO Posted October 29 Author Posted October 29 (edited) I spent the last year traveling. But now I'm back... and I'm a little disappointed by the low number of tank players, I want to understand how this happened... Five years have passed and the IL-2 Tank Crew Prokorovka seems to have been forgotten. The numbers for multiplayer games in general are low. It's been a long time since I've stopped to think about my favorite video game franchise, so I have some ideas. One way to attract enthusiasts, as well as players who already own the game but aren't playing it, is to add content that sparks curiosity and provides entertainment. I know what I'm asking seems absurd and that it might not be possible to do it due to economic and reality issues. But the vehicle development I'm proposing can be created without having to design an entire tank from scratch; the proposal is to develop small variations of the vehicles we already have. A perfectly applicable example that could be done in BOBP: Adding the Panzer IV-J and the M4A1 76W. BOW, we could add a lower-end variant of the Panzer III that we already have in the BOS, and the T-34. That would be fantastic and would attract a lot of people. The tanks don't need to be perfect; they can be simple like those in BOS. The important thing is to attract more players and thus sell more collector vehicles. Another idea I have is to create cheap pocket tank battles, but with fewer vehicles and a smaller, simpler map to produce more and sell to as many people as possible. I made a suggestion for a battle at Lake Balaton. Edited October 30 by LUZITANO

I made a suggestion for a battle at Lake Balaton. S! @LUZITANO, I'm happy to see you back in IL-2 and IL-2 Tank Crew! I may not have the exact answer to your question, but I must say that the IL-2 Tank Crew community is significantly smaller than the IL-2 pilots' community. Over time, if there aren't enough multiplayer servers or events, some Tank Crew players might look for options outside of the game. Additionally, I believe some of the multiplayer servers have made changes that haven't been favourable for tankers. While I don't blame mission creators for wanting to make missions more historical, this often means that many tanks are unavailable in those missions. Since we don't have many choices with the IL-2 Tank Crew modules, I think this approach reduces the number of players participating in these missions on those servers. Furthermore, some alternatives have overly complicated sign-up processes for dynamic campaigns, which also decreases the number of players accessing those servers. Just so you know, since you've been away from IL-2 Tank Crew for almost a year, here are some good server options. However, please note that the numbers tend to be lower during the week; you'll typically find more tankers on weekends: - Advance and Secure: Features multiple maps, AI tanks, and skilled tankers on weekends. - Attention EFront tanks & Aircraft: Not always visible in the (Dogfight) server list, but it's easy to join and offers play against both human and AI tanks. - Front Line Virtual War - Dynamic Campaign: This server features combined arms with AI and human players. However, the sign-up and points system can be somewhat complicated, which detracts from the fun experience. ** You might be wondering why some TC MP servers are not included in the list above. The reason is that those servers have been experiencing declining numbers due to their recent changes. However, I’m not suggesting that you shouldn’t play on those servers if you’re okay with those changes. Ultimately, it's a personal choice for all tankers. Additionally, be sure to visit the Tank Crew Forum for various events specifically designed for tankers, including our AAS-SCG Tank Crew PvP Event, which we host every one to two months. I believe that the E69 squadron also organizes Combined Arms events on the Finnish Virtual Pilots - Dynamic War server. I think that Tank Crew mission creators should recognize that, as our player base dwindles, focusing more on the playability of their missions rather than strictly adhering to historical accuracy would be beneficial. Cheers, GenMarkof007 P.S. If any IL-2 Tank Crew players want to join our AAS-SCG TC PvP Event, please connect to the AAS Discord in the General-English or Events channels. https://discord.gg/CVKYBAbBkg Edited October 29 by GenMarkof007

Well... this tank server thing is huge, I thought about talking about that too. Do you remember how the Virtual Pilots server shone with mixed tank and plane battles involving dozens of people? Good times and good hunts. I really want to see this game full of players, pilots, and tankers. 1

We are a small community; let's support each other and find solutions to attract new tankers. Cheers, GenMarkof007 1

Small maps like the Tank Crew Map (Prokorovha / Belgorod) or Velikiye Luki are always interesting due to (as already mentioned by you) the low costs and additionally the small missions sizes and the higher density of targets. And even these small maps are working well for flight sim missions / campaigns too. https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/87294-easy-mission-generator-by-vander-tc-map-belgorod-prokhorovka-map-41-43-mod-v03-update-for-emgv85/ ADDED LATER: and of course the suggested late war tanks would fit to the new -Odessa / Leningrad Maps ...and to my small Kurland Mod😁 Edited October 31 by kraut1 1
