COOP Mode?

I could not find any discussions on whether there will ever be a modern coop mode incorporated, so I thought I would broach the topic.  It would be nice to be able to host a mission for 4 (5, 6, 7, 8, ?) buddies without having to be an IT guru.  Are there any plans for anything like this?

Looking at the history of this title going all the way back to the original IL2, I would say certainly there will be the functionality for CO-OP missions.  However, for it to really work well, we will need a much better multiplayer game lobby than what we have now.  I know that this is constantly brought up and those of us who care about multiplayer are probably shouting into the wind, but the lobby needs to be a lot more like the old Hyperlobby application, and not the sterile, non communicative one currently in use.

Discord doesnt cut it. would be great to see something like HL again

Potential gold mine for online flyers, truth is its hard enough to find players of a like mindset, and even harder to coordinate a regular schedule with them.  No one will invest the energy to build great coop missions a missing environment.

 

Without it there is no growth potential.

Another vote for a multi-player lobby of some sort, even IL-2 CLoD has it built in!

This! I would love to have this feature.

Seems like we are getting a "Friend" or profile on the menu, per the pictures. 

 

If we could create a lobby and invite people to join alltogether to a server or host a coop / Career mission, it would be really cool!
