I am enjoying the newest ClodDW VR DEBUG Beta( https://theairtacticalassaultgroup.com/.../showthread.php... )from ATAG. It seems to have solved nearly all my problems with VR play . By using it one gets the opportunity to add more info to modders to solve lingering problems , and getting fully operational VR game play. I only wish they would put back the scenery soon!

How is this enjoyable for you? It's just flying laps over a nearly featureless landscape waiting for something to break.... and then it doesn't.  Ahh the life of a beta tester;>)

Likely that's been attempted during internal testing and declared a "no go" at present.

I'm guessing it is possible to load missions like the AI DF testing missions and fly them when not performing the required TFS VR test regimen(?)

It is possible to save different versions of the sim into different folders on your drive and launch any one from that new folder, so long as Steam itself is running.  So I have a library of versions.  It is also possible to have more than one Steam account, purchase the game in each account and then have them both running simultaneously on different computers.  I took the trouble to invest the princely sum of $12 during one the Steam sales some time back on a second copy.  They seem to behave well sharing the 1CSoftClub folder, including the cache, on a OneDrive account.

It is, but it isn't recommended because it causes issues with the bug reports.

So if a player is playing the beta 'laps' and just testing stability, that's the base level for any crashes

Problems arise if the beta testers then play any of the missions and there is a crash, because the auto big report is generated and sent to TFS, who then have to decipher why the stable test mission they have beta testers testing, has created a crash. Only to find, it isn't the beta test mission.

So yes, anything can be played, but the beta testing gets affected by it, so really it should just be the beta test requests only.

That is consistent with the situation as described on Discord:

TBH, given the constraints required to keep VR from crashing, the testing process may drag on for years. I wonder how many testers will be able to maintain the necessary motivation over the long term.

Probably true.  But I am generally running two different versions at the same time and I think they can tell the difference.

It's a fair point.  But many of are sticking with it.  So I guess that makes us the motivated ones.  You are still here.  I think that makes you one of the motivated ones as well;>)

Could you sent me the link from this message?  According to Lenny from the ATAG forum I had only to sent a pm to Buzzsaw.
Or @TF_Soto @TF_Funk @batmacumba  can react from here.

I think you can find it via Google search: Team Fusion Simulations discord channel. Then go to their FAQ.
