Question Answered: Odessa 1941, 44,which German fighter, ground attack, Stuka units where present?

Hi all,

I want to create some at least semi historical correct fighter / ground attack missions with EMG Odessa Modification.

Beside the Romanian and the Soviet Air Force I would like to know which German Lufwaffe Units took part in this campaign?

Currently I found data only about Stab JG.77 that was in the IL-2 Odessa Map Region until 15. August 41.

 

Where there any further german Units present during time ranges:

 

22. Juni. to 26 July?

(EMG front lines still to be defined later)

27. July ... 15. October 1941?

(for this time period the EMG Odessa Area with the 9 front lines is already defined)

I have made a map and plotted in the luftwaffe units i coud find being stationed close enough to have participated on 22. June 1941. Il send it as soon as i can. I cant remember all, but JG77 had atleast one or two gruppen close. There was also groups of he111 and ju88 close enough. And i think ju87s came later. Some sources claims that the 2. Romanian dive bomber group had the ju87 as their plane. And the romanians used the he112 as a ground attacker but it did not bring bombs just 20mm cannons for strafing. In my missions i use the mc202 with 20mm and the he112 skins. 

For the first days from 22 romanians had hurricanes at the front at Buzău 80km outside our map border but in range of the front and very active, later withdrawn furter back.

I will continue working on Odessa EMG in mid July.

There will be some 2...3 earlier fronts between 1st July  ca.26th July and 2..4 "whole map" fronts for more strategic long range missions.

And later in summer or autumn I will create at least ca. 3..4 1944 fronts.
